The i.M 70 is grey and orange with the classic 'Monster' style graphics. The 70 is the narrowest waist of the all-mountain Monster lineup, so this ski is the best choice for skiers who stay on trail a majority of the time.

Description

Size: 177cm
Sidecut: 113-70-102mm
Turn radius: 16.8m

You can only use Railflex bindings with this ski. If you already own a pair you can slide them on the plate, otherwise you should choose one from the dropdown list above.

With a Carbon jacket construction we put this ski in the strong intermediate/lower advanced class. For those of you at top speed look for some of our other Monster 70s that have a metal topsheet.

The monster 70 is the narrowest of the monster line. It is designed for those with about 75/25 on trail/off trail mix. All our Head Monster 70s feature intelligence to keep you stable while cruising the groomers.

Head Monster series skis are designed for true all mountain enjoyment. Monster series skis run the ability gamut from upper intermediate to expert and vary in on/trail off trail mix of 75/25 to 20/80 . The wider monster skis are designed more for aggressive off piste skiing, being both fatter and stiffer than their narrower Monster cousins. It is easy to determine which ski style monster you are looking at as they are named by their waist width. Thus the narrowest are the Monster 70s and widest the 88's.

Though all Monster skis excel in all conditions, the higher the number in the series, the better it will be in variable snow.
Our Ski Selector can take the guesswork out of choosing the correct ski.

If you are going to be using your monsters exclusively off trail, we recommend hooking up with a free flex binding below (this option not available on railflex skis.) If you will be skiing all mountain or mainly on groomed runs (and monsters do great on groomed runs) we recommend choosing a railflex binding.

Skiers not looking for quite so much off trail skiing should check out some of our XRC series skis, those of you who want some versatile skis that maybe are not so stiff should view our Mojo lines.

Ski is pictured with railflex orange binding which you can add as on option below (or some other railflex binding.)

If you purchase a ski/binding but no boot from us to go with the skis, we can mount the bindings but you will need to have them adjusted by a local certified binding technician. If you also buy a boot from us on the same order, we will test and adjust the bindings to the boots. New skis come with a thin factory wax layer so you can be ready for skiing out of the box.

All products are new in original packaging with all warranties. This is the same gear selling elsewhere at twice the price. And yes, items like skis, boots, bindings, poles, gloves, etc come with 2 at the listed price. This item is in stock so order today!

Do you have this ski in 170cm. I'm 6 ft 200lbs and think it might be a bit long.
-Joe February 02, 2010 8:09AM

We do not have that ski in a 170 cm. For somebody your size you would probably just fine in the 177 cm.
