Holy smokes a 2006 ski at over 50% off!! We suggest adding an insanely priced SLD 11 binding to make this setup complete. Features: Color: Dark Red/Orange a very nice looking color, maybe best described as burnt red. Check my other listings for the same ski in blue or black. + + Power Jacket + Light Core + X-Frame + Integrated RAILFLEX System (compatible only with Railflex 2 bindings)
The C 210 is the entry ticket into the league of the All-Mountain Carver with an integrated ski binding system. The lightweight construction makes handling easy and carving enjoyable for the average skier. This is the best choice for beginners and intermediates who ski mainly on groomers. As long as you aren't ripping at high speeds or hitting powder chutes, this set up (with killer SLD 11 bindings) will make you very happy. One of the pics shows you the ski with a separately purchased railflex binding already attached, you can add on a pair here or if you already have Railflex 2 bindings just slide them on. Head 'C' series skis are designed for carving. They have the right shape to easily make perfect turns no matter what your skill level. 'C' series skis run the gamut from low intermediate to expert. Though they are mainly for on trail fun, they are not as narrow as carving skis of five years ago and so you won't find yourself overmatched in powder or crud. Make no mistake though, these skis excel on groomers, hard pack, and ice. Because of this most Eastern skiers are best off on 'C' series skis. Western skiers who spend most of their time on groomed runs also do best with carving skis. 'C' series skis range from 00 series (either C 100 or C200) to 50 or 60 (again either 150 or 250). The higher numbered skis are stiffer more feature laden and geared towards stronger skiers, the lower numbered skis are softer, easier to turn and designed for intermediates and those who don't ski fast. 110 and 210 skis (and 120/220 etc) are the same skis just a different model year. Head perfected the carving ski a few years back so you should not be concerned about which model year you are getting as much as you should be dialed in to the correct skill level. Our Ski Selector can take the guesswork out of choosing the correct ski. To perfect your carving experience, we recommend choosing any railflex binding listed below for the ultimate setup. Skiers who may want to spend a little more time off of groomed runs may want to check out our extensive selection of XRC series skis, which have a little more surface area for variable snow, but still sport a great carving sidecut. If you purchase this ski and choose a ski binding below, we will mount the bindings at no charge (including fat brake arms if necessary). If you also buy a boot from us on the same order, we will test and adjust the bindings to the boot so you are ready to hit the slopes out of the box. There will be a form for mounting and adjustment information AFTER checkout.
