Based on the geometry of the i.XRC 1100, this flagship of the XRC line is also equipped with Intelligence Chip Technology for optimizing adaptation to any skiing situation. New Liquidmetal Technology gives the ski more power, enabling it to respond even faster. The XRC line draws its inspiration from supermoto, a breed of motorcycling sport uniting motocross and street racing. This is a superb ski for serious advanced and expert skiers. It is the most responsive and powerful ski I have ever driven. This ski will explode you out of your turns as the rebound power and stability of this ski are unmatched. It is wide enough for all mountain skiing, but make no mistake, this ski was designed for those who ski fast... really, really fast. Throw on a railflex binding and you have the best high speed carving machine made. Liquidmetal and i.Chip technology are designed to give ultimate performance without making the ski impossible to handle. True as that may be, I believe advanced skiers that do not ski aggressively (i.e. fast) will be overmatched with this powerhouse. - Rich Head XRC series skis are designed for all mountain enjoyment with a decided emphasis on carving groomed runs. They have the right shape to easily make perfect turns no matter what your skill level. XRC series skis run the gamut from low intermediate to expert. Though they are designed mainly for on trail fun, they have enough shape to enable skiing in the powder or crud. Make no mistake though these skis excel on groomers, hard pack, and ice. Because of this most all mountain Eastern skiers belong on XRC series skis. Western skiers who don't spend much of their time off groomed runs also are best off with XRC skis. XRC series skis range from 300 to 1400. The bigger numbered skis are stiffer more feature laden and geared towards stronger skiers. The lower numbered skis are softer, easier to turn, perfect for intermediates and those who don't ski fast. There is some difference in features between model years, so be sure to check out the features on the ski you are looking at. Our Ski Selector can take the guesswork out of choosing the correct ski. To perfect your carving experience, we recommend choosing any railflex binding listed below for the ultimate setup. Skiers who may want to spend a little more time off of groomed runs may want to check out our extensive selection of Monster series skis, which have a little more surface area for variable snow, but still sport a great all mountain sidecut. If you are strictly carving on groomers our 'C' series skis will better fit your style. If you purchase this ski and choose a binding below, we will mount the bindings at no charge (including fat brake arms if necessary). If you also buy a boot on the same order, we will test and adjust the bindings so you are ready to hit the slopes out of the box.
