would these ski be good for a beginner that can snowboard but wants to try skiing and is 58 inches tall and weighs 90 pounds -dan November 11, 2009 8:59AM I punched in 58 inches and 90lbs beginner into the ski selector program, and guess what ski was @ the top with 99% compatibility? Head Big Easy. So its a great choice.
One thing though, the selector gave the 120cm size as the recommendation. I would say that for someone who will be skiing fairly frequently the 130cm is a better choice because you can progress from beginner to intermediate pretty quickly. -Chris (L9 employee) November 11, 2009 11:34AM Enter follow up to this question
Hello,
My 7-year old son is 60 lbs, 130cm, beginner to low int. level. Your ski selector recommend this and XRC50-117cm Junior. Not sure what is the main differences between this two.
Is Big Easy Classic mainly for adult, and too heavy for a kid. The description of this ski looks very good, but not sure if it is good for a kid, or you will suggest XRC 50 Junior.
Thanks,
