I like these bindings they have become my go to binding for my skis. In the newer version (which these are)they did away with the pivot heal and the tank track afd. In my opinion they hold you in better than the older version. They are lighte durable and hold you in. I switched from the look px 15 and px 18 and I'm not going back.

get these bindings! top of the line, 15 din is the highest you should need, i beat on these for a season and they are still as solid as when i got them! perfect for an aggressive park or powder skier
-Kevin (L9 park rider) October 15, 2009 12:04PM

I TEND TO FIND MYSELF POPPING OUT OF HEAD BINDINGS BUT THEY SKIS STAYED ON MY FEET! I HAVE ONLY BEEN OUT SKIING ON THESE FOR AROUND 5-8 FULL DAYS BUT THEY ARE WAY MORE SOLID THEN I EXPECTED!
-Kevin (L9 park rider) April 28, 2009 11:19AM

In case you didn't know, Race Pro Heel means that these do not release very easily (no diagonal. That's why punishers like Kevin have been stoked on that ability of this binding to hold them in place.

Ask a new question about this model (will popup in separate window.)

I have the 07-08 mojo 15 and was curious why they discontinued the diagonal heel and replaced it with the race pro heel? I am looking at the new mojos for my hellbents, but have always liked the pivot of my other set. I have never had any prerelease issues and highly enjoy this binding. Can't really find pros or cons on the switch from the internet. Any help is appreciated. Also, may be interested in the Pivots.
-Matt March 10, 2010 12:09PM

The diagonal heel was intentionally removed from the mojo 15, as this is a freeride binding, most freeriders don't want to have the rotation. If you like the rotation go with the Pivot bindings.

Just got my hands on a pair of 08/09 HellBents with a 122 waist. Heard that the Mojo is a great wide ski binding, so got to know if the 130 brake is the way to go as opposed to the 115?
-Al March 09, 2010 10:32AM

130 so you don't have to bend the arms.

Would you suggest these for use with Mojo 90's? Also if I buy them, any suggestions for where my local ski shop should mount them to the ski? Thanks!
-Jim C January 02, 2010 3:24PM

The mojo 90 just has a standard mount point so Id go with that. This is a perfect mojo 90 binding.. if you dont need this much power the Mojo 12 may be better.

Would the mojo 15s work well with a 88mm ski, or should I go for something with a 90mm brake like the Marker 12.0 Free? I ride pretty aggressively all-mountain and park.
-Ryan November 28, 2009 2:14PM

The brakes will fit an 88mm waist ski just fine. The standard brakes are 97mm, and they won't hang over the edges too much when the boot is engaged with the binding.

do you have a 80-90mm brake....looking to put on a Head im88 and the 97mm brake is a little wide...would rather bend it than have it hanging over the ski
-steve November 27, 2009 1:27PM

The only brake smaller than 97 is 78 which would not fit well. Because monster 88 is actually about 93mm wide where the arms are, the 97mm arm is actually a perfect fit.
     -Rich (L9 owner) November 28, 2009 8:32AM

one other question...are these the same as this years? AFD looks the same, but I was curious about the heel (is the diagonal release gone)
     -steve November 28, 2009 9:25AM

The diagonal release is no longer used for the 15 DIN and up bindings. The AFD is slightly different as well. This model has a rounded look to it.

Once mounted how much plus or minus BSL adjustment does the Mojo provide ? I use both Raichle and Dalbello boots. Although the same shell size, there is a 10 mm difference on the BSL.
-stitch October 18, 2009 9:27AM

These independent Tyrolia (which makes Head bindings) toe/heel piece bindings have about a size up and down so you should be fine. However for best skiing and to be sure they both fit you should have them mounted to split the size difference between your boots. If one boot is 315mm and one 325mm have the bindings mounted for 320mm.

would these bindings work well with the im 85 ob
- September 20, 2009 8:00AM

I assum you mean the iM 95 OB, yes the Mojo 15 (or Mojo 12) is the perfect binding for that ski.

I just ordered a pair of k2 Kung Fujas with a 95 waste, will the 97 brakes fit? If I have to do minimal bending that's fine, but I don't want to have to bend them too much. Ideally I'd like a 100mm brake, but the mojo's don't come with that option. Thanks!
-Eric August 07, 2009 3:20PM

The standard brakes that come with this binding will work with a 95mm waist, so you're set! I've even put them on a 105mm waist ski with some bending, but it works fine.

I'm thinking about ordering a set of Mojo 15's to mount on some Icelantic Shamans. Will the 115mm brakes fit the Shaman or should I go with the 130mm. The waist of the Shaman lists as 110mm, but sometimes ski dimensions aren't accurate (eg. I ordered a set of 115mm brakes for my Nomads and they barely fit).
-Brian June 12, 2009 5:24AM

Since the Shaman is fatter than the Nomad and your experience was that the 115mm arms barely fit the Nomads, Id suggest you get the 130mm arms. HOWEVER, I personally would get the 115s and have to slightly stretch them which is not an issue. The reason they barely fit the nomads is that the actual width where the binding sits on the ski is a little wider than the 105mm listed.

Can you order 110mm fat brakes?

We have some ordered, as soon as they are available they will show up in a dropdown list above and be available for purchase independently.

Can 110mm brakes fit these head 15's?
     -MAark May 30, 2009 10:06AM

There are 110mm arms .. they fit only the Head/Tyrolia 15 series bindings so are not carried at most places. We should have some listed here in the next few days.
