Head SkisHead skis are the core of levelninesports.com. We have a had a great relationship with the skis and the company for a decade. You might think Head Skis are taking over the world. What with Herman Maier and Bode Miller jumping on board the Head train. Well, it's not true. To take over the world you have to lie in bed with Wal-Mart. Or the Ski industry Big Box equivalent. Head is one of the few brands that don't sell to those behemouths, which is why we here at levelninesports.com are able to provide you with there awesome product at prices that no box (or globe) can touch. If you go skiing in Europe you will notice Head skis carving up the mountain everywhere. It's no wonder that from top to bottom their C and XRC series skis rip up the groomers and ice with the best of them. Maybe it's the American roots but someone somewhere also knows what it takes in the the Park and Powder because the Monster and Mojo lines take a backseat to nobody. You can go to your desired model below or let us clarify them a bit first. Head C series skis are designed for carving. They have the right shape to easily make perfect turns no matter what your skill level. 'C' series skis run the gamut from low intermediate to expert. Though they are mainly for on trail fun, they are not as narrow as carving skis of five years ago and so you won't find yourself over matched in powder or crud. Make no mistake though, these skis excel on groomers, hard pack, and ice. Because of this most Eastern skiers are best off on 'C' series skis. Western skiers who spend most of their time on groomed runs also do best with carving skis. Head XRC series skis are designed for all mountain enjoyment with a decided emphasis on carving groomed runs. They have the right shape to easily make perfect turns no matter what your skill level. XRC series skis run the gamut from low intermediate to expert. Though they are designed mainly for on trail fun, they have enough shape to enable skiing in the powder or crud. Make no mistake though these skis excel on groomers, hard pack, and ice. Because of this most all mountain Eastern skiers belong on XRC series skis. Western skiers who don't spend much of their time off groomed runs also are best off with XRC skis. Head Mojo skis are the do everything park and powder combo bonanzas. They are Head's contribution to the new school skier revolution (being led by Ninthward and distorted by Icelantic), all of the Mojo line are remarkable all mountain skis. Um, well I guess not the 103's they aren't exactly made for cruising. But the 80's and 90's they truly are great all mountain skis.Last and certainly not least are Head Monster skis. The monster line is probably Heads most popular line. They are so popular we usually do not get them on closeout and thus usually sell the current season's variety (at the lowest price of course.) This year though we scored, monsters all over the place here. If you don't see the Head Ski you want, give us a yell we can get it. Check out these subcategories: |
