Head XRC Skis

Head XRC series skis are veratile all mountain carving skis.

AGGRESSIVE ALL MOUNTAIN
What kind of ski you choose often has to do with the kind of resort you ride. If you grow up skiing Utah powder, at some point you'll commit to a wider floater. Living in the hard-pack havens of the East Coast US you'll likely go for a quick-gripping race gun.

The XRC was designed for the kind of cross-mountain skiing where hard-pack, crud and powder will alternate almost every day and every couple of meters: The Alps, the Rockies, Canada and the like. Here, the most important performance factor is versatility. Killer versatility, we might add.

FEATURES

+ Intelligence some with Intelligence Chip System
+ Liquidmetal Technology
+ Sandwich Construction
+ X-Frame
+ UHM C Base
+ Carbon Jacket
+ Integrated Railflex System
+ Fiber Jacket

Not every XRC ski includes all these features. As you go up in the number of the model of XRC, you will get more features and the ski will have a more stiff flex.

DESCRIPTION
Head XRC series skis are designed for all mountain enjoyment with a decided emphasis on carving groomed runs. They have the right shape to easily make perfect turns no matter what your skill level. XRC series skis run the gamut from low intermediate to expert. Though they are designed mainly for on trail fun, they have enough shape to enable skiing in the powder or crud. Make no mistake though these skis excel on groomers, hard pack, and ice. Because of this most all mountain Eastern skiers belong on XRC series skis. Western skiers who don't spend much of their time off groomed runs also are best off with XRC skis.

XRC series skis range from 300 to 1400. The bigger numbered skis are stiffer more feature laden and geared towards stronger skiers. The lower numbered skis are softer, easier to turn, perfect for intermediates and those who don't ski fast. There is some difference in features between model years, so be sure to check out the features on the ski you are looking at.
