The Scout Soft is a softer board for skiers 120lbs and under and those who want a more forgiving flex. There is no better freeride board for juniors and lighter females. period. end of story. Please note both the left and right ski are the same color as in the closeup. We show both skis so you can see how freakin cool the matching eskimos are (yes your eskimos will face each other (or both face away.)
Sidecut: 140mm-105mm-130mm Turn radius: 11.8m Features: Handmade in Colorado Poplar wood core Durasurf 4001 Sintered base (very fast and more difficult to scratch) Thick steel edges Reinforced at binding mount area Full twin tip Original artwork graphics by Travis Parr Leave your ill conceived ideas of what a ski should be at the door. The Scout is likely the shortest ski you have been on since you were a kid, but don't let that fool you. This ski is wide and offers more surface area than most skis you see out there today. That translates to an extremely stable ride that is still easy to turn in tight terrain. With the Scout, you will be able to ski the tight trees that everyone else cannot ski with their longer, more cumbersome powder skis. But it doesn't stop there. The Scout performs amazingly well in all conditions, including crud, hardpack, and big open bowls. We have honestly been impressed with the versatility these skis offer. If you are starting to get bored of the same old thing with skiing, try out an Icelantic and make skiing fun again. If you purchase this ski and choose a ski binding below, we will mount the bindings at no charge (including fat brake arms if necessary). If you also buy a boot from us on the same order, we will test and adjust the bindings to the boot so you are ready to hit the slopes out of the box!
