Description
The Da'Nollie is a new ski made with terrain park buttering steeze in mind. The ideal skier here is twofold: a progressive terrain park skier who wants a ski that can jib smoothly and spin like a top, or someone who wants a ski that is fat enough to shred powder but is also pretty easy to control. Or some unholy combination thereof.
Features:
Handmade in Colorado
Poplar wood core (with new special Nollie-Flex Core technology, specific to this ski)
Durasurf 4001 Sintered base (very fast and more difficult to scratch)
Thick steel edges
Reinforced at binding mount area
Full twin tip
Original artwork graphics by Travis Parr
The graphic on the Da'Nollie is of a
Maasai warrior, with a vision of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.
The newest addition to Icelantics lineup is a park beast, hands down. It is a respectable 88mm underfoot, so the ski is an all terrain vehicle that can makes it home anywhere on the mountain, and is equally suited to ski the powder. But this ski was meant for the park. It has a pure twin tip meaning not only are both tips popped up, but the shape of the ski is identical backwards to forwards--you could, if you wanted to, mount on binding facing forward and one facing the other way. The graphics would look funny, but hey you could do it. In addition Da'Nollie contains Icelantics Nollie flex core which makes buttering this ski a breeze.
The intended skier is a big fan of the terrain park, but an unintended skier for this is someone who is just an intermediate level skier who wants a fatter ski but wants one that turns pretty easily. This ski is soft so you can butter in the park, but that makes it also easy to turn on a dime.
Additional Info
A ski of this length would typcially used by a skier about 79 inches tall. Aggressive skiers or those looking for good off trail performance may go longer, beginners may go shorter.
