Its all about the steeze in this category. Park Rats hang out in the terrain park, working on mastering the next big trick while blasting music from their iPods, but also there to look rad. These guy are very hard on their gear, hitting things against rails and boxes, so durability is very important. The equipment, with the exception of the baggy and heavy clothing, is relatively lightweight to provide maximum maneuverability and to get that last bit of rotation to land that sic trick.
