Gear in this category helps skiers go fast, probably too fast. Consider it race gear for everywhere on the mountain that isn't a race course. Skiers that fall into this category are skiing dangerous lines with fat and stiff powder skis, stiff boots, clothing and gear that is extremely durable. These are the guys and girls that need solid gear that doesn't break after jumping off cliffs and skiing over rocks. Why would anyone want to do that anyway?
