Lange Concept Ski Boots

Believe it or not, Lange makes a wide fit boot. It is called the Lange Concept. If you are practicing foot binding to cram your foot into your Lange Pink Panthers, it might be time to get something that actually fits you. Don't tell me that your 15 year old chunks of plastic are the best fitting boots you have ever owned. You are missing out on 15 years of innovation and progress toward more comfortable and better performance boots.

The Lange Concept boots fall into the Recreational skier category. A recreational skier is one that skis 5-20 times a season, can make it down just about any slope, tries to improve everyday on the hill, and needs a good mix of performance and comfort from their gear.

Level Nine Sports currently carries three models within the Concept Line:
Concept 85
Concept 75
Concept 65

Here are some of the features of the Concept boots:

Shell construction:
Concept Overlap: Allows easy in-out
Bi-injected shell: For solid energy transfer
Mono-injected cuff: Allows some flex and conforms better to calf and shin area
Soft walk plates: Get better traction walking on ice and hard surfaces
Lightweight plastic: Less bulky feel and easier to manage

Adjustment Features:
Micro Adjust buckles: Gets you the perfect fit when you are in between buckle rungs
Macro Adjust buckles: Can easily and quickly adjust from bean pole legs to football lineman calves.
Canting Adjust (Concept 85 only): Corrects for bow-leg or knock-knee skiers
Flex Adjust (Concept 75 and 85): Gives you the freedom to adjust flex of the boot according to personal liking or snow conditions

Liner/Innerboot:
Comfort liner: Different materials used in specific locations of the liner to add more support or more comfort where needed
Tongue Loop: For easy entry and removal of boot

Head Edge- Similar in features to the Concept Series, but offers a different fit that appeals to a wide audience
