Custom Comfort-Fit: Thicker padding in the lining of this helmet increases comfort and has a good amount of cushion.

Removable ear flaps: Soft ear flaps that can be removed for warm weather skiing, or to make the helmet feel a little wider.

Hard shell cover: A durable outer layer of plastic makes this helmet a little heavier than soft shell helmets, but it will last a lot longer and resist dings and dents.

Safety Standards: CE EN 1077-96: This is a European standard that has performed testing on these helmets to ensure they function as designed, and that they exceed the minimum standards for snow sports. In other words, they dropped heavy objects on the helmets, and they didn't break.
ASTM 2040-02: The US equivalent of the European testing standard, so you know it has solid backing.

Sport venting: Small vents at the brim of the helmet and at the rear top. These are permanently open to allow airflow, but the liner from the inside prevents snow from getting in.

Flexible goggle strap: A rubberized material used for the goggle strap at the rear of the helmet can stretch over goggle clips, and will prevent the goggles from slipping off the back of the helmet.
