Ski Sizing

We have ski sizing down to a science at levelninesports.com.

Before you look at any useless ski sizing charts, we need to remind you that the greatest ski sizing and selection tool can be found right here on the Level Nine Sports Ski Selector

The current rule of thumb for adult ski sizing is the tips should measure to the chin for beginner, nose for intermediate, and eyes/forehead for advanced skiers. There are too many factors to hold true to this guideline for most skiers, but it is a decent starting point.

Kids skis should always be sized at the chin or shorter, unless your kid is already pretty good. Do not give your kids longer skis than this with the idea of them lasting a couple of seasons. It is best to get them the correct size for this season and have it a little short for next season. That way, they can learn faster and not be hindered with extra length and weight for an entire season.

Trust us. We know what we are talking about and it is our job to know.
If you have any problems with our sizing recommendations, you're just going to have to suck it up. The only time our recommendations don't work is when you are a professional level skier, and if that's the case, you should know what length skis you want anyway!
