Other options to the left provide us with more information to dial down the correct gear.

The Display style allows you to choose whether you want us to tell you just the best ski models we have for you, or the exact ski and size. If you are sure of your correct ski size then choosing "show models only" is the way to go. For most of you, we recommend you let us dial down the exact ski for you; we are experts in getting customers the right gear. Keep in mind that your recommended size in one ski will probably be different than your recommended size in another.

You can exclude ski labeled as Junior, Female, or Unisex (also known as mens skis) by unclicking those boxes. At least one box must be clicked for skis to be matched. If you are an adult you will probably want to exclude Junior skis. We recommend that you do not exclude Female or Unisex skis.

You can select the size you think you are after by entering a size in "Desired ski size." Or, let us recommend the size and make ski specific adjustments by entering in your height and weight. If you enter a number in the "Desired ski size" box Height and Weight fields are ignored.

Speed helps us lock in the correct model for you and helps us determine your correct size.

The Snow and Terrain condition options will fine tune the results to help you get exactly the skis you need. These are weighted fields within each category. This means that if you put a 9 in powder, a 2 in crud, and zero in the other Snow fields; you value how a ski performs in powder over how it performs in crud by a 9-2 ratio and you do not care how the skis perform in other snow conditions. The number itself is only relevant to how it relates to the other fields in that category. If that confuses then just think of how important (from 0-9) it is that your ski excel in each condition and throw in the number. Of course we all want our ski to be great in everything all the time, but be honest with these choices. If you never ski powder and moguls then throwing numbers in there will keep you from getting the correct killer gear we have just for you. The terrain and snow condition fields are independent from each other as far as weighting.

Keep in mind that size is the most important factor in getting the correct ski. The more information you provide the better we can do in getting you not only the correct ski but the best size in that ski for you. The results of the Ski Selector are better than our already legendary advice from the Level Nine Team, but feel free to email/call if you are not sure about the correct ski for you.
