These are superb bindings that allow a free flex of the ski by allowing the toe and heal pieces to 'float'. These bindings come with mounting plates so you can put these on any flat (that is skis without premounts for a specialized binding) skis. Railflex bindings have 3 unique features.

1. They easily adjust to any sized boot. The toe and heel pieces are attached to a plate bar that you can slide on and off the railflex plate. This enables your Tyrolia Ski tech to easily adjust the bindings to fit any boots. Mostly railflex bindings fit boots with sole lengths from 260-360mm.

Railflex bindings also are 'floating' on the railflex plate. This eliminates the dead spot under the foot where the ski cannot flex on a traditional mount. This creates a fuller carving experience for those who know how to carve.
These Railflex bindings also have an adjustable stance that you can adjust with one screw. You can have your stance forward to help with turn initiation or if you are having difficulties., center for all mountain skiing, and back for powder or speed. Being able to get your weight back without having to get out of your good aggressive skiers stance will instantly improve your powder skiing.

All Railflex 12 and 14 level bindings also come with a diagonal heel. This is the pinnacle of performance and safety allowing the boot to have a side to side release from the heel and also allowing just the right amount of give on high speed carves. Railflex 11 and lower series bindings have lighter components to make skiing easier.

Please note that these are Railflex 1 bindings and not compatible with Railflex 2 plates. These bindings do include the plate so that you can mount them on any 'flat' skis. These have the same features as railflex 2 bindings they just fit on a different plate.
