Yes, this is the sickest binding in the Tyrolia line. Does anyone really need a din to 17 and all these features? Hell, I don't know, but if you do need the best, this is it. Color: Black and Gold The other folks are trying to 'blow these out at $299.' As usual, our price is gobs lower than their blowout price. New 2006 Tyrolia Free Flex Plus 17 Race Ski Bindings
The Tyrolia Free Flex Plus 17 is a World Cup Race ski binding. This binding allows you to change edges at lightning speed and performs sensationally at top speed. The unique safety feature of the Free Flex Plus provides more traction, grip, and control. It performs best in extreme conditions and can handle any terrain without prereleasing.
This binding will not work on railflex skis but does work on any 'flat' ski or and ski with a Tyrolia compatible plate (ie Head, Fischer, Elan, etc.) The brake arms can accommodate a ski up to 85mm underfoot with just a little tweaking, for a fatter ski you may need to purchase fat brake arms (though we can install these bindings on 90mm underfoot skis with no problems.)
Features: - Stand Height 21mm - Tyrolia Free Flex Plus ABS - Anti Blocking System for easy boot release Weight (both bindings) - 2720gm - Diagonal heel - AERO toe with TRP System - Race Diagonal - Dura-Coating Tyrolia Free Flex Plus 17 DIN: 6-17 Skier Weight range: 128lbs and up Free Flex bindings can be mounted on a carve plate for racing, or flat on the ski for a park/powder low stand height. The main difference between the Free Flex line and the Mojo binding line is that the FF has feature that enable you to with the turn of a switch stiffen the binding under the ski. For park/powder you will probably not activate this feature, but when carving it is a nice feature to add stability (often a nice bonus when your are carving your softer freeride skis on your way to the off trail goods.)
