Boaź technology for the value consumer : Quick In/Quick Out without a hassle Synthetic upper Unique integrated liner design Dual density EVA rubber sole Boa technology is the awesome new setup that removes the only thing that sucks about snowboard boots: the laces. The Boa system is laced cables of aircraft grade steel (no it doesn't add weight) that take the place of laces in keeping your boots tight. To tighten you simply push in the Boa housing button (to lock it in place), righty tighty turn the dial until you get the snug fit you desire. To remove the boot, you just pop (pull) the housing button and stretch out the tongue. If it comes into your head how much nice this is at the top of the lifts on a cold day when you need to tighten up the boots, you are right on. We always recommend Boa boots. Competition level riders still require laces because they need to have the boot so tight it cuts off circulation, for the rest of the world the Boa system is the way to go. If taking even 10-20 seconds to turn tight your boots is still too much of an inconvenience go ahead and add the Boa speed wheel to your order, a totally cool totally unnecessary add-on. Maverick boots run very large, so we recommend ignoring all other sizing recommendations (even our own generic sizing advice) on these boots and buying your street shoe size for a loose fit and 1/2-1 size down for a tighter fit on these boots. Performance for riders starts by getting their feet warm, comfortable and secure. Zuma boots address all these concerns with superior flexibility and heel hold without sacrificing support. Boaź Lacing System boots are for advanced riders to beginners who want quick in/quick out convenience.
