Description

Details

Amplid S Rocker: S-Rocker, the ultimate freeride camber-line, features a blend of cleverly placed camber and rocker. Rocker in the nose aids floatation and improves deep snow agility. A conservative amount of set-back camber improves tail hold in icy conditions and adds stiffness just where you need it; for stomping big landings, styling dramatic slashes and scrubbing speed.

Biaxal Fiberglass: Fiberglass is layered at two angles (perpendicular to eachother) for added torsional strength without added weight.

HEXO2 Core Inserts: HEXO2 core replaces specific areas of weightier wood at the tips with featherlight recycled paper honeycomb, practically eliminating swing weight making for a more nimble and quick turning ski.

Ideal Target Skier: Big Mountain Charger: Top speed, all the time, regardless of terrain, obstacles or children in the way, these skiers need stability on par with professional downhill racers. They are usually looking for long skis that are wide and heavy.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Sandwich Construction (SW): SW means that the sides of the skis are a vertical wall rather the the rounded Cap construction forund on most skis. Since none of the skis material needs to be exerting force maintaining shape at the edges, SW skis are stiffer than their Cap counterparts. Most people find SW skis to be damper, that is more glued to the snow, superior at high speed GS turns and top notch at busting through crud or choppy snow.

Jekyll and Hyde Geometry: Max effective edge and square centimeters for flotation in the minimum board or ski length. Unsinkable, but nimble pow shreds, sawn-off jib decks with huge pop and insane edge-hold or the ultimate all-mountain ski shape recipe.

Speed: Very Fast: Skiing at this speed means keeping up with the best skiers on the mountain, while still maintaining control.

We Have Recommended Some Bindings For You: You will notice there is a dropdown menu that says "Ski Bindings" above. These are simply a list of curated bindings we recommend will work best for this particular ski but other bindings will work as well. There are a few factors i.e. brake width, DIN range, ability level that determine an appropriate binding choice, so let us know if you need assistance.

Sintered Base: The material used for the base is harder, and therefore more durable than other options (Extruded). This material should be waxed regularly for best performance.
