Amplid Morning Glory Snowboard

SKU: 37524
The Amplid Morning Glory isn't your average snowboard, this is a pow-specific board designed to shred the soft stuff, no matter how deep it happens to be. This is a fully directional wider-than-average board that has a flat tail and long nose so you can truly get the surfy sensation on the snow. Your tail will sink down and your nose will stay on top, for the ultimate in slash-ability. S-Rocker provides camber in the tail so you can still hold an edge on groomed runs with rocker in the nose for flotation. If you are looking to add a powder board to your lineup, the Amplid Morning Glory will prove to be a super fun option, especially at this low price.

Generic Snowboard Sizing Chart

A good rule for snowboard sizing is about chin height. A little longer for stronger or heavier than your height riders. A little shorter for beginners or lighter than your height riders. Also keep in mind if you have very small feet for your height you will probably need a shorter and thus narrower board and if you have big feet for your height you may need a longer and thus wider board for your height.

The A.R.C has been busy developing new mind-bending shred shapes. Skis and snowboards with split riding personalities: Max effective edge and square centimeters in a min board or ski length. Experimenting with complete shaping (outline, camber and core profile together) in the lab and on the mountain has resulted in some crazy discoveries: Unsinkable but nimble powder boards, sawn-off jib decks with huge pop and edge-hold and the ultimate all-mountain ski recipe. With Jekyll and Hide Geometry appearances can be deceiving.

Fiberglass Laminate: In order to make the core stiffer and poppier without adding weight by using metal layers or denser wood, these skis have been given an fiberglass laminate. Believe it or not, even glass fibres have a degree of elasticity. Using pre-stretched fibres in our laminates means you can be sure that your shred will never feel lifeless or lack pop throughout its life.

Combining the tail support of real underfoot camber with the floatation of an early rise nose is a tricky business - but we nailed it. Entering a sketchy windblown gully with control, using its 2 ft. pow exit door with pleasure: This is where the S-ROCKER is at home.

HEXO2 Core Inserts: HEXO2 core replaces specific areas of weightier wood at the tips with featherlight recycled paper honeycomb, practically eliminating swing weight making for a more nimble and quick turning ski.

Wood Core Construction: This board sports a wood core, which helps dampen a bumpy a ride, giving the board a smoother ride. The wood core also helps maintain the camber of the board so it stays springy and lively.

ABS Sidewall: ABS provides better edge hold than other materials and construction types. It will also withstand impacts with rocks and terrain features (rails, boxes, your friend) more effectively when compared to cap style construction.
