Kids need park skis too! That's why Amplid made a kid's version of their popular "Provoke" ski. The adult and junior models share the same graphic, but the junior has a PU core with cap construction so its more kid-friendly. The Jr. still has a twin tip for easy switch riding and is very lightweight, perfect for learning tricks. If you haven't stepped it up to the park just yet, don't worry the Provoke Jr. will ski just about any terrain with ease.

Description

Details

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

3 Choice Mount Position : The three choices are as follows. Park Mount is where the bindings are closer to dead center on the ski and is best for freeride skiers who want to ski switch a lot of the time. Manufacturer's mount is where the makers of the ski recommend you mount the bindings (usually between park and powder mount). Finally Powder mount is the furthest back on the ski which allows for more tip length and float in powder. If you wish to get more technical on where we mount your skis, please contact customer service.

We Have Recommended Some Bindings For You: You will notice there is a dropdown menu that says "Ski Bindings" above. These are simply a list of curated bindings we recommend will work best for this particular ski but other bindings will work as well. There are a few factors i.e. brake width, DIN range, ability level that determine an appropriate binding choice, so let us know if you need assistance.

Composite Core: This ski features a composite core, which has a softer flex and is lighter weight than wood cores. Junior, entry level, and sometimes even women's models have this type of core to make skiing more enjoyable, and less work.

The purists won't ride anything else, why would they? Camber is synonymous with powerful ollie pop, snap out of carves and superior edge hold. On the flip side, riding camber requires concentration to avoid nasty edge catches, and strong legs and setback stances in powder.
