The Armada ARVti is a 98mm wide ski built for aggressive skiers who ski fast down any terrain or snow conditions. There is a wood core, a layer of Titanal and carbon and Kevlar stringers that work in unison to create a responsive, stable ride at the fastest speeds. The ARVti features "AR Nose Rocker" which means there is rocker in the tip, camber underfoot and no rocker in the tail which helps with soft snow and easy turn initiation. In other words, this ski is a stiff, charging ski for expert skiers who like to ski a little of everything and maybe just want only one pair of skis that will do it all.

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Expert Binding Choices: Some of the binding options (i.e. the Head GTO 15) available for this ski have high din ranges that start at 8 or 9. A very small percentage of skiers will be suitable for these bindings. If you know that you usually set your din at 8 or above, you are in the clear for a high din binding. Otherwise, those bindings are for EXPERT SKIERS ONLY!

Skier Ability: Advanced to Expert: Skipping the blue runs to get to the black runs, but sometimes a little cautious when it gets very steep, or some hesitation when your buddy says, ''You just have to clear those rocks or else you're toast.''

Ideal Target Skier: West Coast All Mountain Skier: Skiers on the west coast will enjoy this ski as an all mountain, do everything model, while skiers on the east coast will find this more suitable for powder skiing, or when there is chopped up crud to be had.

AR Nose Rocker: This type of rocker profile has a rockered tip, camber underfoot and no rocker in the tail. AR Nose Rocker will help the ski float in soft snow while maintaining a solid edge hold on groomed runs.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

AR50 Sidewall: Cap in the tip and tail, sidewall under foot that balances performance characteristics with a lower swing weight and increased durability.

Titanal sheets: A unique blend of titanium and aluminum that gives extra strength and stiffness to the skis without adding too much weight. Skis with Titanal sheets are typically reserved for advanced to experts, because they require more speed or strength to flex them properly.

We Have Recommended Some Bindings For You: You will notice there is a dropdown menu that says "Ski Bindings" above. These are simply a list of curated bindings we recommend will work best for this particular ski but other bindings will work as well. There are a few factors i.e. brake width, DIN range, ability level that determine an appropriate binding choice, so let us know if you need assistance.

3 Choice Mount Position : The three choices are as follows. Park Mount is where the bindings are closer to dead center on the ski and is best for freeride skiers who want to ski switch a lot of the time. Manufacturer's mount is where the makers of the ski recommend you mount the bindings (usually between park and powder mount). Finally Powder mount is the furthest back on the ski which allows for more tip length and float in powder. If you wish to get more technical on where we mount your skis, please contact customer service.

Fiberglass Laminate Matrix: Deliberate directional layering of fiberglass stringers dictates the flex pattern and torsional rigidity of the ski. Basically, it works with the wood core to give the ski its snap and response.

Carbon And Kevlar Stringer: This ski has Carbon and Kevlar stringers in the tail of the ski to add more pop and extend the life of the ski.

How do these skis handle the terrain park? I'm looking for something that will be able to handle big jumps. I'm not a crazy skier when it comes to the terrain park, but i do enjoy going off the jumps. I want something that can handle the impact but still be great for the rest of the mountain.
