Armada TST Skis

SKU: 36826
The Armada TST makes skiing powder more fun for everyone, whether you're a pro rider or you're buying your first pair of phat skis, you'll have a blast slashing pow turns on these babies. These skis are rockered, the 'middle' (the portion underfoot) is traditional camber and the tips have rocker. What this means, practically, is that these skis are going to have amazing float and allow you to keep your speed and stability on groomed terrain. Speaking of groomers this ski will be both stable and nimble because of the camber underfoot. We both know you will get a TST for the deep stuff, but when you're on groomers the TST even at 192cm is easy to wield.

We Have Recommended Some Bindings For You: You will notice there is a dropdown menu that says "Ski Bindings" above. These are simply a list of curated bindings we recommend will work best for this particular ski but other bindings will work as well. There are a few factors i.e. brake width, DIN range, ability level that determine an appropriate binding choice, so let us know if you need assistance.

EST All Mountain Rocker: Rocker in the tip with positive camber underfoot and no tail rocker. This technology promotes flotation in the soft snow while giving the ski great drive and edge hold on the hard pack.

3 Choice Mount Position : The three choices are as follows. Park Mount is where the bindings are closer to dead center on the ski and is best for freeride skiers who want to ski switch a lot of the time. Manufacturer's mount is where the makers of the ski recommend you mount the bindings (usually between park and powder mount). Finally Powder mount is the furthest back on the ski which allows for more tip length and float in powder. If you wish to get more technical on where we mount your skis, please contact customer service.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Ideal Target Skier: Powder Hound: If you use your sick days only when it snows 12'' or more overnight and not when you're actually sick, this ski is probably for you. Powder Hounds are on the search for deep and untouched powder, and fat skis to ski it with.

AR50 Sidewall: Cap in the tip and tail, sidewall under foot that balances performance characteristics with a lower swing weight and increased durability.

Expert Binding Choices: Some of the binding options (i.e. the Head GTO 15) available for this ski have high din ranges that start at 8 or 9. A very small percentage of skiers will be suitable for these bindings. If you know that you usually set your din at 8 or above, you are in the clear for a high din binding. Otherwise, those bindings are for EXPERT SKIERS ONLY!

Fiberglass Laminate Matrix: Deliberate directional layering of fiberglass stringers dictates the flex pattern and torsional rigidity of the ski. Basically, it works with the wood core to give the ski its snap and response.
