Clocking in with a release range of 4-12, most teen and adult skiers will be very safely held. These bindings are great for all of the all-mountain/off-piste variety skis since we offer these with two brake options 90 and 115mm. We highly recommend these as an upper intermediate-advanced freeride binding, especially with the wide brakes (which usually cost 35-40$ on their own), these are a definitely worth the price for skiers with phat skis.

Description

Details

These are great bindings marketed to the freeride crowd. The low stand height and wide brake arms included are great features for the Park and Powder skiers who want better balance and have wider skis.

Automatic Wing Adjustment: The toe of this binding automatically adjusts to the slightly different width among ski boots. This means it is one less adjustment to fuss with. Just step into the binding and go skiing.

Stomp Pedal Shock Absorber: Essentially what these means is that the plastic directly beneath the toe of your boot is a little flexier than the other parts of the binding, which helps absorb some shock (like in bumps or landing jumps).

Composite Materials: The parts of the binding that need to be metal are made of steel, but the majority of the binding is a superdense, superlight plastic composite material. This gives the binding the ruggedness of a more metallic binding, without all the added weight.

Elastic Pedal: The AFD under the ball of the foot allows for proper function even when ice, dirt, or snow get stuck to the bottom of the boot.

Features:

Din range: 4-12

Skier weight range:>79lbs

Stand Height: 16.5mm (low profile)

All around great binding for the priceReview by Cormac

I am a slightly above average skier who can go anywhere on the mountain, but that doesn't mean I can do it with speed. As a result, these are the perfect bindings for me. They hold under pressure and keep upright, but if I screw up they pop off at my 9.5 din setting. For the price they are tough to beat. (Posted on 4/8/2016)
