The Century JR II is structurally the same ski as the Punx JR II, just has girly graphics. This ski does not look like her brother's skis (the graphics are super sleek and cool). This is a full camber, cap construction twin tip that has a great shape for more intermediate to expert girls skiing the entire mountain. They are super light and are a twin tip (you can ski backwards if you want), making it even easier to stay out there all day and maybe even take a few jumps!

Details

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Ideal Target Skier: All Mountain Park Rider: Skiers that go anywhere on the mountain, and still make trips through the terrain park enough to require twin tips, describe these skiers. They are not afraid to skip park sessions to ski deep powder, but are torn sometimes for their love of hitting rails and jumps in the park.

Synthetic Core: A lightweight flexible ski core designed to help skiers master turning and stay out of harms way by making the ski nimble. Juniors rarely need or want a wood core ski, though if they are racing or performing serious tricks in the park they may.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Active Camber: Active camber is a traditional base, essentially the absence of tip rocker. Active camber skis have superior edge hold on hard surfaces and at high speeds, but are more difficult to ski off-piste.

Twin tip skis: are where its at these days. Their versatility allows you to ski powder in the morning, bumps at midday, and session the park in the afternoon. The turned up tail is also optimal for skiing backwards (switch), but for most people, it just looks cool.

We Have Recommended Some Bindings For You: You will notice there is a dropdown menu that says "Ski Bindings" above. These are simply a list of curated bindings we recommend will work best for this particular ski but other bindings will work as well. There are a few factors i.e. brake width, DIN range, ability level that determine an appropriate binding choice, so let us know if you need assistance.

Product Questions

I'm 5"2 and 150 lbs. I borrowed my friend's 2013 Century 166" skis and loved them. How do these differ?

Is there any possibility that this can ship to Australia? Or an alternative similar to this, that can?

Your description (both the overview text at the top, and the detailed description at the bottom) describe these as full (or 'active') camber. However, every other webpage (including your own sale on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Atomic-Century-Girl-III-2015/dp/B00O21S1DG) describes these skis as 'All Mt Rocker'). Which is it ;-) PS: I am looking specifically at the 140cm length (which may be different from the shorter lengths of the Century...)

Mogul champReview by Helsbels
Rating
Well, we got these skis for our 9 year old for a bit of fun- all mountain and park really. Used them for her mogul competition as they were better than her alpines, and she won Gold!! These are a great all round ski, land some great air in the park and off the mogul run. Good in powder. About the only deficiency would be skiX and alpine racing. Really a solid all round ski.
