We built the Wasatch Ripstop 5in Pull-On Short for days when the plan is loose and the terrain isn’t. From local trail loops to exploratory ridgeline missions, these shorts are made to move confidently through rugged terrain while staying comfortable from morning to evening. We used a recycled stretch ripstop fabric that balances durability with mobility, giving us freedom to move when scrambling, hiking, or covering ground at a steady pace. A soft hybrid waistband with an integrated drawcord keeps the fit secure without feeling restrictive, while a zippered thigh pocket and back pocket keep essentials in place. Finished with a PFC-free water-resistant treatment for surprise weather, these shorts are built to handle long days outside without overthinking the route.
