This chart provides a safe comfortable size that most all skiers will be able to use. If you are looking for a true skier's performance fit you may want to size down one half to one full size smaller. For most ski boots, the full (.0) size uses the same shell and liner as the half (.5) size (like, 25.0 and 25.5) and will have almost an identical fit.

110 Flex Rating: This boot is too stiff for beginners, and would be a very aggressive fit for intermediates. 110 flex is going to be a stiff and performance oriented shell that is recommend for advanced/expert skiers who need a very responsive boot.

102mm last: Slightly wider than average to give a great fit for most skiers. This last was designed to fit pretty much everyone, but really wide feet, or the opposite, should look for different lasts more appropriate for their foot types.

Twin Hinge Ski/Walk Mechanism: This boot features a twin hinge ski/walk switch that significantly softens the boot and allows for increased mobility backwards for an extra long and unrestricted glide range while ascending on your skis.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

Alpine Touring Ready: These boots are equipped with a Hike/Ski switch on the back of the boot. Whether you need to bootpack (hiking up with your skis over your shoulder) or using skins and touring bindings (the bindings are designed to lift up at the heel, while using skins on the bases of your skis to provide traction while going uphill) these boots will provide much more range of motion in your legs, resulting in less pain and faster ascents!

Boa Adjustable Liner: The liner has a boa tension system just like all of those nifty snowboard boots you've seen out on the hill. Simply snap the dial into place and spin to desired tightness. The Boa Dial will help you get a snug fit around your foot for maximum performance and zero foot movement.

Thermoformable Power Fit Liner w/ Boa: This is a Heat-Moldable tongue style liner with a boa closure system built-in. There is a dial on the side of the liner that you can tighten to get a more performance fit, similar to a snowboard boot liner.

Triax Pro Frame: This is a mix of Alpine and Touring focused construction with progressive, alpine boot-style power transfer and an unmatched 20 degree range of motion in walk mode.

Pebax Shell Material: Pebax polyether plastic maintains a consistent flex in all temperatures so you boots won't feel stiffer on very cold days.

Will these boots work with the Atomic FFG 12 Downhill Ski Bindings
Hi, Currently looking at these boots. Previously skied in Head Edge 10+ but had a lot of issues with heel lift and sloppy fit around my shin, requiring the use of a foam tongue filler to reduce the volume. Recently changed to Lange RX110's which fit better but still experienced some shin rub and needed to fit an ankle wrap. I have a reasonably wide foot in the toe box, a narrow heel and a very athletic calf. Basically my question is, is this boot/shell a suitable fit for a leg/foot like mine? Thanks for your help
Hi, I am currently trying to decide between theses boots and the Fischer ranger 10 boots. How does the fit and flex compare? I am an intermediate skier, will these boots be too stiff?
Are the AT sole blocks included with these? If not, do you carry them?

Good boot for wide feetReview by SoundandSki
Pros: quality innerboot, solid look & feel, good foot securityl
Cons: complicated to get on, innerboot gets pinched when taking foot out
Location: Tahoe Skiier
I'm usually a 9 1/2D mens shoe- with a narrow calf and flat feet in a 26.5 Factor 110. Boa solves my fit issues with most other shafts and was big reason for me to get boot, the lower shell is wide with a snug heel. Heatmolding the innerboot changed percieved fit from extremely tight and short to very comfortable and almost too wide- but I'm coming from years of dedicated alpine boots and I think these are a little roomier for striding even with the downsizing. Innerboot makes shaft quite tall, and boot feels burly with quality hardware. As noted by several, innerboot gets pinched by lower shell after taking foot out- could be a wear issue for hard users, just don't know yet. Haven't used em- feels med-stiff to me with decent fore-aft movement when unlocked. Lock mech feels solid, canting not issue for me- but only adjusts at outside pivot. Overall as pleased as can be without having used them, and a shout out to Level Nine for having this boot at this price with fast shipping! Black Diamond also has a real person answering the phones! Good for slim feetReview by Justin
Pros: Nice design and functions
Cons: Easily scratched
Location: Canberra
As said, re-form the liner if you don't want the pain caused by the tight fitting which could harm the circulation near your foot. I tried to use hair drier and it doesn't work well. Would use oven to give it a shot. Excellent fit and grip with boa and other functions. Walk mode only helps a little. (Posted on 9/2/2014)
Got the worksReview by Tammo
Pros: Harnesses your skis
Cons: Green
Location: Australia
Great boot with all the extras, Once your in, youre in. Heat forming the liners is a must, if you dont like pain. The walk switch works great. A great boot for the more agressive, as it does keep your heel down when you dive into hard corners, with real serious skis. Love them (Posted on 6/29/2014)
BD Factor 110Review by John Michael
Pros: thermo form liner, adjustments
Cons: none
Location: Vancouver
fyi, this review is just random thoughts since i dont know what im doing but i thought id give props to level nine sports with a review since they shipped the boots to me in Canada in 1 business day which blows my mind. only used them once for some resort skiing on a pow day in whistler so cant comment on the touring side. once you get the thermo form liners dialed in (did it in the oven at home), they fit great. lots of adjustments on the shell for your preferred stance and fit. boa system works great. read some reviews before regarding the liner tongue getting pinched by the shell everytime you put them on/take them off which i did experience as well initially before doing the thermo forming. this was more annoying than an actual performance/comfort issue. once i did the thermo form on the liners though this problem seems to have resolved itself and i dont notice it anymore. mightve been because i have a high volume foot and it pushed the stock liner tongue too far out.
