600D Fabric: This heavy duty nylon resists wear and tear, and reduces the risk that sharp edges will cut through the fabric. It is also water resistant, to keep gear dry when inside.
Padded back: Padding, about 1cm thick, with mesh lining gives users extra comfort and protection from hard objects inside the bag.
Adjustable Belt: Secure your bag to you while you're moving and shaking. Large buckle is winter glove friendly.
Chest compression strap: This strap, when correctly positioned, sits just above the sternum, and helps the shoulder straps and bag stay in place during activity. The elastic strip won't restrict movement and breathing.
Hydration pocket: A separate pocket inside the main compartment for a hydration bladder (not included), and a small slit for the hose routing outside of the pack. The shoulder strap also has a plastic clip to hold the hose in place while skiing or hiking.
Ski/board carrying straps: There are two sets of straps on this bag. One set for carrying a snowboard flat on the back, sitting vertically. The other set is for a pair of skis to run diagonally across the back.
Goggle Pocket: A soft fabric lines this pocket to make a little nest for a nice pair of goggles. Its at the top of the bag so your boots don't crush them. Pretty smart, eh?
Shovel compartment: Take the handle out of the shovel and insert into the internal pocket of this bag. The shovel blade is simply put in the main compartment.
Vertical Board Carrying Straps: You can snap your snowboard on to the outside of the bag for hiking around in the back-country or just to free up your hands when snapping photos.
Built-In Rescue Whistle: The male end of the sternum clip has a built-in rescue whistle, so if you need to be found you can simply blow this whistle and be found that much quicker. Time Saved=Lives Saved.
Laptop Sleeve : There is a padded laptop sleeve that will keep most 15 inch computers snug and secure in your bag.
Organizer Pocket: This compartment has spots for your iPods, iPhones, Pens, Pencils and anything else you need to keep organized.
These skis have a wood core, but not a solid wood core. Aerating the wood core makes it lighter while still retaining much of the flex and durability of a solid wood core. This is a 'best of both worlds' type of thing!
