Dalbello 2015 Krypton 2 Kryzma I.D. Women's Ski Boots

SKU: 32221
The Krypton 2 Kryzma is the highest performance offering for ladies from Dalbello. These have about a 115 flex rating (with some adjustment) which is pretty high up there for a Women's boot, so we recommend these for the most aggressive women skiers. These come standard with the ID Thermo Pro liner (same as the KR2 Pro) so you will be able to achieve the most precise fit out of the boot. These are the new generation of Kryptons so the shell is designed to fit more anatomically around the foot in crucial areas than ever before. The murdered out all black look sets these apart from the flowers and bright colors of most Women's boots.

This chart provides a safe comfortable size that most all skiers will be able to use. If you are looking for a true skier's performance fit you may want to size down one half to one full size smaller. For most ski boots, the full (.0) size uses the same shell and liner as the half (.5) size (like, 25.0 and 25.5) and will have almost an identical fit.

Description

Details

105/115 Adjustable Flex Rating: At this level, we are teetering on the precipice between consumer level boots and race-team boots. These boots are still on the consumer side, but they are certainly high performance enough for pretty much any racing program that you or your child may be in.

98mm last: Forefoot width of 98mm for racing performance, not as concerned about comfort, although modern boots do a great job of keeping their performance boots quite comfortable.

Cabrio Design: Dalbello's critically acclaimed 3-piece design is the cornerstone to their freestyle performance lineup. Cabrio boots secure the foot and lower leg in a comfortable way, with a smooth and progressive forward flex. Cabrio boots are great for helping fight against shin bang, and are easier to put on and take off than comparable (high performance, non-cabrio) boots.

ID Thermo Pro Liner: The most high performance ID wrap liner available made from the high density foam. This liner will result in improved response, more accurate energy transfer to the ski and better overall control.

Interchangeable Boot Boards: This model comes with two boot boards in the box. One is the "landing gear" shock absorbing model for those who like to catch some air. The other is a firm board for less catching air and more high speed cruising.

40mm strap: Super wide strap found on high performance boots. The extra width spreads out the force while skiing and reduces the pressure point on the upper shin.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

2 Interchangeable Tongues Included: These boots come with 2 tongues that can be swapped out to make the boot stiff (130 flex) or medium flex (110ish). Just another feature that allows for maximum custom fit and performance.

Double Canting: Two adjustment bolts, one each side of the ankle, allow for maximum adjustment for leg/knee alignment problems. The canting helps the skis stay flat on the ground while you are still bow-legged or knock-kneed.

Contour 4 Fit Technology: The shell of the boot is designed to be more anatomically correct than any other. Four parts of the foot are crucial in ensuring a close fitting but comfortable boot. The toes, ankles, heel and width of the boot are shaped in a more natural, ergonomic way.

Dynalink by Dalbello: The middle buckle Dynalink boots is an extra big instep closure band that pulls the heel back into the heel pocket. Where some buckles pull your foot towards the footboard of the boot, boots with Dynalink pull your foot towards the heel of the boot. This is nice because it often means you can get an tight fit without constantly banging your toes against the end of the shell.
