Dalbello Boss Retro 10 Ski Boots

SKU: 34468
Some people want an all-mountain boot that performs well but is also comfortable. Some people want a boot that is loaded with tech features but also has a wider forefoot width. Well both of those people should look at Dalbello's Boss Retro 10 ski boot. The Boss Retro 10 features the ever popular 3-piece cabrio design and a wider 103mm last for wider feet but has a 100/110 flex for aggressive skiing. We recommend this boot to strong intermediates looking for a blend of comfort and performance as well as wide-footed experts. The Retro series is essentially the wider/softer version of the famous Krypton series boots with the Dynalink middle buckle which locks your ankle down for maximum control. Throw it back with the Retro on the hill with this fantastic all mountain option from Dalbello.

This chart provides a safe comfortable size that most all skiers will be able to use. If you are looking for a true skier's performance fit you may want to size down one half to one full size smaller. For most ski boots, the full (.0) size uses the same shell and liner as the half (.5) size (like, 25.0 and 25.5) and will have almost an identical fit.

Details

103mm Last Width: This boot has a 103mm width, which means it is above average width, so the total volume of the boot is generous, making this boot comfortable to wear, and easier to put on and take off than some more constricting boots.

100/110 Adjustable Flex Rating: At this flex, the skier should have good form, be skiing fast and aggressively. These boots feature an adjustable flex so you can set the boots to the softer or harder setting based on the day or based on your preferences.

Cabrio Design: Dalbello's critically acclaimed 3-piece design is the cornerstone to their freestyle performance lineup. Cabrio boots secure the foot and lower leg in a comfortable way, with a smooth and progressive forward flex. Cabrio boots are great for helping fight against shin bang, and are easier to put on and take off than comparable (high performance, non-cabrio) boots.

Trufit Performer Liner : The middle sibling of Dalbello's Trufit Liner Series combines comfort, precise fit and warmth all in one to make them some of the most high quality liners that come inside boots today.

Excenter Canting Rivet: Canting on the outside of the boot and a pivot on the inside gives the skier control over the left and right angle of the leg to correct for knock-kneedness or bowleggednesss

Shock Absorber Heel: An insert in the heel absorbs shock from harsh, jolting terrain, and helps cushion big air landings.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

Shock Absorber Cuff: The cuff of this boot has a shock absorbing insert. It is common for boots to have a heel shock absorber, but cuff absorbers are pretty rare. Cuff shock absorbers indicate one thing above others: You are currently looking at a freeride/park boot.

Dynalink by Dalbello: The middle buckle Dynalink boots is an extra big instep closure band that pulls the heel back into the heel pocket. Where some buckles pull your foot towards the footboard of the boot, boots with Dynalink pull your foot towards the heel of the boot. This is nice because it often means you can get an tight fit without constantly banging your toes against the end of the shell.
