Generic Snowboard Sizing Chart

A good rule for snowboard sizing is about chin height. A little longer for stronger or heavier than your height riders. A little shorter for beginners or lighter than your height riders. Also keep in mind if you have very small feet for your height you will probably need a shorter and thus narrower board and if you have big feet for your height you may need a longer and thus wider board for your height.

The Hell City from DC is quite possibly one of the craziest and best snowboard graphics we've seen at L9. Its a fake movie poster for "The Moguls Attack", which is sort of a play on "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" which is awesome. Its widely known that Snowboarders hate moguls mainly because there isn't any easy way for them to ride them but the Hell City might make it a tad easier. This board is designed for advanced riders looking to shred the entire mountain. It is on the stiffer side of the spectrum with full traditional camber for precise edge contact between the snow and the board. The Hell City is also reinforced with Carbon Stringers that makes the board responsive and stabilizes it at high speeds.

Sintered 4400 Base: A blend of high-density (high speed!) sintered base technology and easy-to-tune 4400 extruded base gives the rider the best of both worlds. A tough and fast base that will only need to be tuned once per season (for most people).

ABS Sidewall: ABS provides better edge hold than other materials and construction types. It will also withstand impacts with rocks and terrain features (rails, boxes, your friend) more effectively when compared to cap style construction.

8/10 Flex Rating: Flex Ratings go from 1 (soft) to 10 (stiff), so this board is in the upper end of stiffness. Stiffer boards have higher top speeds, have better stability at speed and better stability through bumpy/choppy terrain--but softer boards are easier to learn on and easier to do terrain park tricks with.

Wood Core Construction: This board sports a wood core, which helps dampen a bumpy a ride, giving the board a smoother ride. The wood core also helps maintain the camber of the board so it stays springy and lively.

Carbon Fiber Layer: This board has a layer of Carbon Fiber, which stiffens the board without adding much weight. The Carbon layer also makes the board stronger to withstand the abuse of more aggressive riding.

3 Degree Bevel : By taking 3 degrees of angle off the traditional 90 degree edge, advantage is gained for both beginners , who get a forgiving, catch-free ride, as well as expert riders looking for a board that's jib-ready right out of the wrapper.
