The Defiance Flash Junior Skis offer exceptional performance at a very low price. These skis were pressed in the mountains of Slovenia in EU, so you know they were built to be some of the most durable junior skis available. The skis are perfect for really any kid from beginner to expert and they come in sizes as low as 80cm, for the munchkins and 140 for the tweens. The Red, Blue and Purple fade graphics couldn't look any cleaner, who doesn't love a good fade? The Flash was built with a Composite Core, Cap Construction, and a rough textured top sheet to keep these skis looking new and in use for the next few seasons. Backed by Defiance's Lifetime Warranty, The Flash Ski makes for a superb choice for any young shredder or shredderette.

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount your ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Defiance Skis: Defiance Skis is an American ski company founded solely to provide high quality, durable equipment at realistic prices. It's 2018! And this is the internet! Shoppers shouldn't have to resort to a decision between renting or buying used gear, and really shouldn't have to spend $800 equipping a beginning skier! All Defiance products are covered under a Lifetime Warranty so not to worry, if anything happens that shouldn't, L9 has gotcha covered. Stay beholden to the big box ski 'sales' if you must, or Defy the Ordinary, the decision is yours and yours alone.

Camber/Rocker: Defiance's Camber/Rocker profile is 80% traditional camber, and 20% early rise, which means that these skis are going to hold an edge, and should be skied mostly on hardpack--but with the raised tips, plowing through crud and powder is definitely do-able.

Ideal Target Skier: Developing Young Skier: Anywhere from first timers to advanced youth skiers, that still have a lot to learn about skiing. They might ski fast sometimes, and have a blast, but aren't comfortable with some areas of the mountain.

Composite Core: This ski features a composite core, which has a softer flex and is lighter weight than wood cores. Junior, entry level, and sometimes even women's models have this type of core to make skiing more enjoyable, and less work.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Fiber Tech Wrap: A fiberglass network that surrounds the core of the ski. This technology helps the ski flex evenly, creating a smooth, effortless turn.

Extruded Base: This durable material requires little maintenance and holds wax for a long period of time, so you don't have to wax as often.

We Have Recommended Some Bindings For You: You will notice there is a dropdown menu that says "Ski Bindings" above. These are simply a list of curated bindings we recommend will work best for this particular ski but other bindings will work as well. There are a few factors i.e. brake width, DIN range, ability level that determine an appropriate binding choice, so let us know if you need assistance.
