The Defiance Flash Junior's Complete Ski package has all the hardgood essentials to get your child out on the slopes. The Flash skis are press in the mountains of Slovenia in Elan's factory, so you know these skis are made from quality materials. The ski is constructed with a composite core and is paired with cap construction, all wrapped in a rough textured top sheet improving overall durability. Paired with the skis is Elan's integrated EL 4.5 bindings, that are adjustable and fit a variety of boot sizes. And to complete the package we have included one of our most top-selling kid's boots, the Roces. This one-of-a-kind boot beats any other boot on the market because it can adjust in size, making it the best option for your growing kids. The Defiance Flash Complete Ski Package comes in a wide size range, so whether this is your youngsters first ski or you've got a tweener lapping the park, there is a size for all your kids.

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount your ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Defiance Skis: Defiance Skis is an American ski company founded solely to provide high quality, durable equipment at realistic prices. It's 2018! And this is the internet! Shoppers shouldn't have to resort to a decision between renting or buying used gear, and really shouldn't have to spend $800 equipping a beginning skier! All Defiance products are covered under a Lifetime Warranty so not to worry, if anything happens that shouldn't, L9 has gotcha covered. Stay beholden to the big box ski 'sales' if you must, or Defy the Ordinary, the decision is yours and yours alone.

Camber/Rocker: Defiance's Camber/Rocker profile is 80% traditional camber, and 20% early rise, which means that these skis are going to hold an edge, and should be skied mostly on hardpack--but with the raised tips, plowing through crud and powder is definitely do-able.

Ideal Target Skier: Developing Young Skier: Anywhere from first timers to advanced youth skiers, that still have a lot to learn about skiing. They might ski fast sometimes, and have a blast, but aren't comfortable with some areas of the mountain.

Composite Core: This ski features a composite core, which has a softer flex and is lighter weight than wood cores. Junior, entry level, and sometimes even women's models have this type of core to make skiing more enjoyable, and less work.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Fiber Tech Wrap: A fiberglass network that surrounds the core of the ski. This technology helps the ski flex evenly, creating a smooth, effortless turn.

Extruded Base: This durable material requires little maintenance and holds wax for a long period of time, so you don't have to wax as often.

We Have Recommended Some Bindings For You: You will notice there is a dropdown menu that says "Ski Bindings" above. These are simply a list of curated bindings we recommend will work best for this particular ski but other bindings will work as well. There are a few factors i.e. brake width, DIN range, ability level that determine an appropriate binding choice, so let us know if you need assistance.

Micro Adjustable Plastic Buckles: These buckles are plastic to keep them lightweight, but unlike most plastic buckles they do have micro-adjustment capability so you can clamp down the boot at the perfectly comfortable position.

When adjusting the size of the boot, make sure to always unbuckle the boot before adjusting the size. Use the included lever bar to turn the tab and adjust the size, no other tools should ever be used to adjust the fitting size.

Roces ski boots are the perfect choice for your child whose foot is still growing (that's probably the majority of them.) If you click on our link below you can find more information about these boots and how they work than you would ever need. The two buckle boots (16.0-18.5 and 19.0-22.5) are to be used with children's bindings. The larger (23.0-25.5) three buckle boots can be used with any bindings

We here at levelninesports.com are absolute fans of this product and work closely with the manufacturer to improve the product. The changes from introduction to arrival in North America the season are bigger pins for the latch so the sizing set is rock solid secure, internal latch springs, and a softer flex so it is usable by all ranges of junior skiers.

IDEA is the first ski boot growing with the kids. Through the patent pending '6in1' technology, it is possible to adjust the size of the ski boot to accommodate the natural growth of the kids' foot.

There are two main advantages to getting Roces boots for your junior skier. The first is obvious in that you don't have to constantly buy new boots to get a great fit. Often overlooked is that since you are not getting new boots, you don't need to remount bindings as your child's foot grows, since the sole length of the boot remains the same as you expand and contract the fit.
