The D1 from Dragon is essentially a larger version of the D2, so that means a wider range of vision and a more comfy fit on the face. The lens is a polycarbonate cylindrical style lens that has Dragon's Super Anti-Fog Lens with 100% UV protection, basically its a very high quality lens. This model comes with a bonus lens so you can have a lens for flat light storm days and one for bright, bluebird days. Protect your eyes in style with the D1 from Dragon!

Dragon Lens Types: Click the link to Learn More about the many various Dragon lens options for different light conditions.

Helmet compatible: The strap is longer to fit around helmets, as well as hats, without stretching it to the max. Helmet compatible goggles also try to place the adjustment clips off center to not interfere with goggle clips that are on the back of most helmets. The shape of the frame also sits well with most brands of helmets.

100% UVA/UVB Radiation Protection: Optically engineered to screen out 100% of harmful UVA/UVB rays, so you can ski in the bright sun all day without frying your eyes!

Injection Molded Cylindrical Lens: Injection molding a cylindrical lens helps refine optics and minimize distortion that can occur in thermo formed cylindrical lenses. We offer a full range of performance-engineered lens tints and mirror coatings that help to enhance your vision and every lens is protected by a durable hard coating that resists scratches.

Super Anti-Fog Technology: Dragon's Super Anti-Fog Dual-Lens technology utilizes the same anti-fog chemicals used by NASA for spacecraft windshields and space helmet visors. The result is the strongest anti-fog known to man, lasting twice as long before fogging when compared to competitors.

Fleece Lined Foam: The foam on this goggle is lined with a super soft micro fleece material for a nice, cozy fit and feel against your skin.

I checked the chart for Dragon lenses, and don't see "Amber" on the list. Can you please clarify specs for the amber bonus lens?

We are going on a first ski trip - the wife, 11 yr, and me - would these goggles be a good entry level goggle? We were told a bright and low light lens would be best.

I'm trying to figure out if these will be too big to fit with a Smith Transport 2013 helmet (medium). I'd like a larger goggle for better visibility (currently rocking a medium frame in Smith Scopes) but I don't want to interfere with my helmet.

Pros: Good light, comfort
Cons: little bit big on face
Location: Sydney, Australia
Skied with for a week, appear good in most light ranges and comfortable on face. Do look large compared to last goggles. delivery as usual great! (Posted on 7/22/2015)
LOVE EM!Review by Skibootmike
Rating
Pros: Comfy and block the sun
Cons: none so far
Location: Sacramento
Love these things on a sunny day. Like the roominess of over-the-glasses goggles yet I don't see me using my sunglasses with these babies. Breathe well and not a lick of fogging. All good. (Posted on 1/22/2015)
Great Goggles at a Great PriceReview by sfeisal

Pros: Value, comfort, extra lenses
Cons: none
Location: Yukon, OK
Great goggles. Were very comfortable under both with and without my helmet on. Had some very minor fogging early on when wearing helmet (had faceguard on it), but that went away very quickly and didn't reoccur. All in all, GREAT price on a great pair of goggles. (Posted on 1/1/2015)
Good Goggles.Review by Dr. Wade
Rating
Pros: Look great. Comfortable.
Cons: If they get fogged up, they take forever to clear.
Location: Colorado
I like these goggles a lot. Although they advertise the "no fog technology" they still have a tendency to fog and once the moisture is in between the lenses they take for ever to clear off. (Posted on 12/29/2014)
