Ski poles are your friends. They help you maintain proper form and balance, as well as help you get across the flat spots. The only people that shouldn't use poles are kids that cannot parallel yet, true beginners, snowboarders, and park skiers that desperately need to look like snowboarders. So if you aren't one of these categories, you should be using poles.
Sizing poles is easy. Just use the ski pole Sizing chart to give you a good estimate of what length of poles you should be using.
Ideally, your arm should be parallel to the ground when you grasp the pole (with the tip up) below the basket.

There are cases when you can go longer or shorter than what the chart recommends:

  • If you are a bump skier, you should size down 2-8 inches.
  • If you want an aggressive stance for steeps and higher speed skiing, size down 2 inches.
  • If you are doing a lot of park skiing, size down 2-6 inches
  • If you Telemark, size down 2-6 inches
  • If you are powder skiing a lot, size up 2 inches.
  • If you are ski jousting, size up 4-12 inches

We have thousands of poles to choose from, and if we don't have your size, any of our poles are easy to cut to length.

Elan’s Ripstick 102 is a mountain slayer, with graphics that make these skis pop even when you find yourself in knee deep pow. Built for advanced to expert lady rippers, the Ripstick 102 is packed with all the features we love from the Ripstick series but with emphasis on women. From TNT Technology to the Amphibio profile, you will be ready for it all. By keeping it light yet stiff, these sticks slice through crud and bring that buttery feel through the freshies. Made for the most aggressive lines and deepest pow. Explore the backcountry in a whole new way with the Ripstick 102. The Plush 4 women's ski boots from Full Tilt do indeed offer the plushest ski boot experience on the market today. Though this is the softest flexing boot in Full Tilt's line up, their three-piece construction makes that flex the most progressive on the market. That means they give you even feedback so that you don't ever get the feeling of hitting a wall with your shin. The liner, however, is what really delivers the plush experience by using the softest open cell foam in combination with stiff, shape holding Intuition brand foam that molds to your foot. All of this comes together in a lightweight package that reduces fatigue for beginner through intermediate riders for which these boots are intended.

SST Sidewall Construction: SST construction combines the durability and rigidness of cap construction with sidewall construction for more power and edge grip to form a unique hybrid sidewall design.

TNT technology: TNT is the foundation for building skis that are extremely lightweight, while delivering powerful rebound and a smooth on-snow ride. How did we do it? We integrated VaporTip Inserts into a TubeLite Woodcore. The end result was TNT Technology. The TubeLite Woodcore offers incredible response and stability at a low weight, while the VaporTip Inserts further reduce weight in the tip and tail areas and improve stability for a balanced and smooth ride in any conditions.

Amphibio Rocker Technology: Elan's Amphibio Rocker is a groundbreaking design, wherein the edge of the outside ski has a stable flat camber, great for holding edges on hardpack; and the edge of the inside ski is rockered in both the tip and tail, giving it a more surfy, easy and playful feel. The purpose of this technology is to give you a ski that is extremely fast and stable on hardpack without being painfully difficult to maneuver, as well as giving the outside edges a nice surfy feel when making turns in soft snow.

Tubelite Woodcore: To create the TubeLite Woodcore, two super lightweight Carbon tubes are inserted into a lightweight laminated wood core. Measuring 5mm in diameter and hollow in their construction, these tubes run the length of the ski following the arc of the side cut. They provide torsional stability and powerful rebound while allowing for material reduction of the core. The result is incredible lightweight response and stability.

Tri-axial Fiberglass: A weave of fiberglass with three directional orientation provides excellent strength to weight ratio and better torsional stiffness as compared to bi-axial weaves.

Vapor Tip: Vapor Tip inserts are advanced composites integrated into the tip and tail area of the ski‘s core. These inserts reduce weight and vibration, dramatically improving stability and ensuring a smooth ride even in the most demanding conditions.

Sandwich Construction (SW): SW means that the sides of the skis are a vertical wall rather the the rounded Cap construction forund on most skis. Since none of the skis material needs to be exerting force maintaining shape at the edges, SW skis are stiffer than their Cap counterparts. Most people find SW skis to be damper, that is more glued to the snow, superior at high speed GS turns and top notch at busting through crud or choppy snow.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

102mm last: Slightly wider than average to give a great fit for most skiers. This last was designed to fit pretty much everyone, but really wide feet, or the opposite, should look for different lasts more appropriate for their foot types.

4 Flex Tongue: Soft flex – FT's most forgiving adult flex for lighter skiers looking for maximum ankle motion & comfort. You can quickly change your flex by swapping out different # flex tongues (sold separately).

Rigid Boot Board: The Rigid Boot Board provides a firm layer in the bottom of the shell maximizes responsiveness & sensitivity to the snow.

Rubber Heel and Toe: Natural rubber soles on the toe & heel for non-slip walking & hiking that can even be replaced if they wear out.

Aluminum Ladder Buckles: Durable, lightweight aluminum. Macro ladder for quick & easy memory reference and a micro twist for fine adjustment tuning.

FTE Evolution 3-Piece Shell Design: A quantum leap in ski boot design – the FTE is a new shell born from the original 3-piece DNA by constructed for those with a wider footprint.

Ribbed Tongue Design: 100% ribbed tongue enables smoother, more natural linear flex from your shin to your toe. The tongue bends like a flexible straw, never bottoming out while providing smooth rebound. No more shin bang!

Full Tilt Adjustable Flex: The boots flex is rated on a simple scale of 1-10 (10=stiffest). Change a boots flex by simply switching the tongue. (Competitors boots require permanent cutting).

Lateral Adjustment: Easy, precise lateral angle adjustment. Original & Soul shell: 12mm Influence Shell: 3mm

Forward Lean Adjustment: Tool-less forward angle adjustment. 4mm or 8mm.

Infinite Pivot: Unlike traditional designs, the rear cuff never bottoms out. It pivots infinitely forward with your calf for less shell distortion, no shin pain and more control.

Dual Material Outsoles:Constructed from a high grade polymer, the removable outsoles provide added grip and stability.

Cables: Cable closure works like a shoelace to eliminate dead spots for a smooth even pressure flex & fit.

Customizable: All parts are sold separately for unlimited personalization and repair using a standard Philips head screwdriver.

Easy On/Off: Tongue fully opens like a convertible, never blocking your foot. Slide your foot in and out easily with comfort in all temperatures.

Lightweight Design: Minimalistic 3-Piece design eliminates the need for thick heavy overlapping plastic or bolts for increased quickness & sensitivity, up to 2 lbs / 900g lighter than some alpine boots.

Wide Toe: For people with wider feet or prefer a little more wiggle room in the toe area, a thinner foam is used in the front of the liner to increase space without sacrificing control.

J-Bar: An additional J-shaped piece of foam is inserted internally on both sides of the ankle area to dramatically increase ankle hold down, to keep your feet perfectly in place for precise control.

Intuition Liners: All adult boot liners are built using authentic Intuition® closed cell foam. It is body heat activated to mold 100% to your feet and shells during use, or can be instantly heat molded by a shop in minutes for a light, warm and super comfortable fit.
