Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Parbolic Rocker Profile: Profile that brings a shorter effective length of the ski edge which enables skiers to make effortless turns, Parabolic sidecut for carving turns on all terrains, and Front side Stabilizer which improves ski stability.

Waveflex Technology: Elan's Waveflex is literally waves bored out of the core of the ski, you can see and feel the topsheet has a wave-like texture. The purpose of these waves is to provide a harmonious flex pattern throughout the ski, and lightens up the overall weight of the ski without giving up torsional rigidity.

Metal Tip Protectors: These skis have rugged tip protectors made of metal that will help fight against chipping and damage to the tips, which is both a performance and cosmetic benefit.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Fiber Tech Wrap: A fiberglass network that surrounds the core of the ski. This technology helps the ski flex evenly, creating a smooth, effortless turn.

Textured Surface: Ideal for repelling wear and tear on the skis surface. Textured ski surfaces (aka snakeskin topsheet) are rough surfaces to the ski that hide or repel scratches keep your skis look new long after they are not. Originally designed for rental skis for obvious reasons, this surface is now available on a wide variety of retail skis as well since everyone likes their skis to look nice.

Product Questions

Are these twin tips? If not do you have any twin tips that come in the packages with skis, bindings and boots.
What will be the skis in the official elan product range that are the closest in terms of the construction and performance to these skis? I would like to compare the specs and reviews but given that these are made exclusively for you I can't find any information online.
HI ^^

I AM 5'7" (227 lbs)

what is my choose size? 176CM is OK?

i am Beginner ..
Why can't I find these skis elsewhere? They look like great beginner/intermediate skis, but I'm hesitant since I can't find a description of them elsewhere.
I've read the reviews, questions, and answers about the Waveflex 76-- and I'm close to buying my first pair of skis after years of renting.
I'm 6'4", about 190 lbs, athletic, solid intermediate, eastern groomer skier. Less interested in speed, more interested in progressing from skidding to carving my turns.
I think I know the size to order but would like to hear your opinion.
Hi, I'm trying to figure out what size I need to order. I'm a beginner 6'2 about 227 lbs. According to your chart I should get 165-169. I would like to her your opinion. Thanks in advance!
Hi, I am 5'10" (170 lbs), I am an advanced fairly athletic and aggressive skiier. I spend most of my time going fast, and taking quick turns, but staying mostly on piste. I know these are not the typical skiis for me, but I am trying to save some money for my education, and I saw that these skiis are still pretty stiff, which might fit me. Do you think I will still enjoy skiing with these or should another option fit me better?

Any reason why for this ski there is no adjustable binding between the options?
Can it be ordered with a adjustable binding?
Do these have a tip at the rear tail
Hello, what of the offered bindings would better fit to "Rossignol Alltrack Pro 100 Ski Boots" (size 26.5)? If I buy only the skis and binding (without boots) would you adjust them for the mentioned boots?
Are these good for terrain parks
Is there much of a difference between these and the women's version, other than color?
If I buy just the skis and binding, would you set the bindi g up for me? My boots are the Atomic Livefit 65, size 23. I bought them from you about a year and a half ago. Thanks!
bought a pair of head tt10ti from you 2 years ago. Like them, just curious how they would compare with these elans. Ive been using the heads as my back up pair. My main pair are done so I need new skis.

Will these go with the Tyrolia SX 10 Ski Bindings 2016?
I know these aren't twin tips but can I ride backwards with them or can that only be achieved with real twin tips? Yea I know if I I'm asking such a question I'm inexperienced and shouldn't attempt to go backwards but I really want to play around(In the safest conditions) =)
What is the difference between this and the Amphibio waveflex. Do you have a link for this ski at the Elan website?

waveflex in 176 lengthReview by Dave L
I own some Elan Amphibios and they are rated better than these. I ski very aggressively. I can ski all of Maryjane in Colorado, Just got back from skiing "Over the rainbow" Chair 1 Loveland-it was icy too, Spaulding Bowl, Copper mountain. Mostly use my K2's and Amphibios for these BUT, I took these waveflex 176's for a test run on some mostly Black Diamond run moguls(no I didn't try them on the double diamonds yet) and had my buddy who was a Ski instructor back in the 80s follow me just to see how they held up, His comments "slow the hell down" "I thought you said these skis might not hold up" enough said. I was skiing like a wild man on these not so highly rated skis, I didn't break them or crack them and the funny looking white bindings are actually kinda cool against the black background on these skis, Yes I took one good fall going fast on the moguls at the Mine dump at Copper and the bindings released like they were suppose to. So, I give them 4 stars cause I like my K2s better(600.00 skis tho) but still, I say, let me put these on and you put your 1000.00 skis on and "catch me if you can" I'm old but as I say on the slopes, "62 and coming thru" these skis giterdone for a pretty good price and you can always have them as a back up pair or even rock skis during early season. I feel I got a good deal. (Posted on 3/25/2017)
Great for everything Review by Jon
I came across these skis and was skeptical about them because of the price but after talking to a few people I figured I'd give them a shot and they definitely surpassed my expectations.
They are great in all conditions and hold an edge very well. I'm not sure why people are saying you can't use them in deep powder because they handled great in the 2 feet plus powder days at Park City this year as long as you actually know how to ski powder.
They are very stable for how light they are and handle black diamonds just fine for the price. Highly recommend if you're not looking to drop a lot of money on a new pair of skis. (Posted on 2/14/2017)
Not durableReview by MTSKI
I bought my son a pair in January 2016 and one ski cracked across just below the tip on his first outing. Elan was great and replaced them under warranty and I found their customer service helpful. However, This season just after the warranty expired there was a 3 inch chop out of the top deck all the way down to the base that I had repaired. Last weekend both tips cracked (one completely through the base halfway across). He skied 7 times on them total. We'll be looking for a more durable ski. (Posted on 2/13/2017)
Fantastic Skis for the priceReview by Richieboy62
I have been skiing for over 40 years. I am in my fifties and weigh 100kgs or 200+ pounds. Been skiing Breck with these skis for 3 weeks These skis just carve and turn beautifully. Being lighter I find they are incredibly easier to turn. Tempted to buy another set and keep them (Posted on 2/13/2017)
Egh...Review by Trent
Full disclosure - I'm an advanced skier that was looking for a cheap option that would "do". As other posters mentioned, the skis are incredibly light, but that's not a good thing as these skis can not hold an edge. In short, these skis made me feel like a newb. (Posted on 2/13/2017)
Fantastic Value Review by Henry
The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was how light the skis were. which although doesn't make a ton of difference in the slopes, it make it soo much easier carrying them from the car to the lodge. I also like that they don't stand out too much they're just black skis with a little highlight on the side. I don't have any complaints about them. And for 200 dollars with bindings and almost free shipping I love them. (Posted on 2/9/2017)
Best on line buy everReview by George
Best on line shopping experience ever. Believe or not, I live in Ottawa, ON, Canada and got my Elan Waveflex skis within less than 48 hours, they were at my doorstep, no customs fees, no surprises. Mind you, these guys ship from Salt lake city, Utah, USA. Incredible. Everything came professionally wrapped up and secured.

The skis themselves are great. Beginner, intermediate, even advanced skiers can take a lot out of these skis. I do diamond trails on them, no problem. These skis will hold their edge on icy patches, they can go through some powder, they will bust through the crud. Amazing, great value (Posted on 1/18/2017)
Great all around lightweight skis!Review by Savio
I couldn't be happier. I'm an intermediate skier (blues and blacks) and these skis are easy to control and has good speed in groomed and fresh powder conditions (not deep powder). Are lightweight (not super lightweight) and great all around skis. If you want better speed with less control, just order one or two size up. (Posted on 12/26/2016)
Outstanding SkisReview by Ben
These are wonderful skis.

Prior to this season I had been away from skiing for 24 seasons. Coming back to it, I was looking for something on the shorter end (160 cm) for riding at the small, local hills. I also wanted something that would be forgiving for re-learning, but that would also allow me to continue to have fun as my skills progressed. The WaveFlex 76s fit that role perfectly.

Having taken these skis from essentially being a novice again, up to an intermediate level, I can confidently say that these skis are perfect for those levels. They work well for turns of various sizes, sliding and carved turns, hold an edge well on groomed runs, are a very reasonable weight, glide well, and have given me absolutely no cause for complaint.

I ordered my skis (with the D11 bindings pre-mounted, set for my boot size) on a Thursday. They arrived, well-packaged and in perfect condition, the following Monday (Western Canada). The quality, fit and finish are outstanding.

I was very pleased with the purchase experience (Level 9 Sports, shipping), and am very pleased with the ski & binding combination itself out on the hills, and have recommended both Level 9 and these specific skis on numerous occasions.

Thanks for a great product at a great price. (Posted on 12/19/2016)
Excellent SkisReview by silversov
These are fantastic skis. My wife and I both have a pair and just finished the season in New Zealand. Both of us love them. Excellent value. (Posted on 10/6/2016)
Great skis! Fast delivery!Review by parr
I ordered these for my husband for his birthday. I was skeptical about the delivery time frame, as we are in New Zealand. But the skis arrived on the day they said they would - only 3 working days! absolutely amazing!! Hubby tested out the skis last week, and loves them!! Thanks so much (Posted on 9/20/2016)
Good Value ChoiceReview by Matterbaters
Just got back from first trip where I didn't have to rent skis. The Elan skis felt great and performed exactly as I hoped. I'm not a beginner, but only a once a year skier and know my limitations. Happy with the info received when speaking to Level Nine and the product. (Posted on 3/25/2016)
A great valueReview by Jim Rossiter
I've been out of skiing for the past 12 years since the birth of my oldest child. I would rate my ability as advanced but a lot older now. At 52 years old I'm not going to ski at the level I once did. I can't take the risk because I just can't take a beating like I used to and I don't heal nearly as quick. So when my kids finally decided to put the game controllers down and expressed a desire to learn to ski, I was on board. Having never skied on shaped skis I certainly wanted to give it a shot without breaking the bank. So I found Elans Waveflex 76 skis here at levelninesports.com.
I placed the order with Whit on Monday (thanks Whit, you rock) and the ski's arrived on Friday with bindings mounted and set to my specifications.
Sunday I was on the slope's and skied a solid 9 hours on the skis.
The Elan Waveflex 76 holds an edge very well on a groomed slope. At speed there was minimal slap wich surprised me for a ski at this price. The ski is very solid and responsive when carving turns. With a little coaxing it excellerates well through the base of the turn and the transition between turns is effortless if not slightly "spring-ish". The ski is eager to hop coming out of the carve as you transition into the next one. The ski performed very well on icey patches. Living in the Northeast this is very important since we are plagued with it. The Elan Waveflex 76 grabbed an edge very well through these patches and allowed me to ski through them with minimal sliding. On groomed headwalls and steeps these skis performed well beyond my expectations allowing me to drive the fall line in a responsive vadel (sorry, I'm still old school!). I did not get the opportunity to run any moguls (bumps) but I would feel confident doing so on these skis. Don't get wrong, these are an intermediate ski but one that even the advanced skier will feel comfortable with on a groomed packed slope and an intermediate skier will see advancement in their performance. The Elan Waveflex 76 is an excellent value at this price and I would rate it five stars out of five. (Posted on 2/16/2016)
Good enough for this beginnerReview by pgamike
I bought these as my first skis that I own. This is my third season of skiing (previous two years 4-6 days).

These skis work great on the scrape of Northeast "Snow" and I am able to get them to work well enough to stop / turn regardless of ice, slush or powder. They seem a little grabby on softer snow, so I am having them waxed and will retest this coming weekend.

They gave me the confidence to head down 8 different diamond trails with grades up to 31% and averaging around 20%. But they really rock on a tougher blue. (Posted on 2/4/2016)

Very good skis for the priceReview by Paul
Great stability and grip on every kind of condition, from ice to powder to mush. Tried them in Mont Tremblant, QC
As always excellent service and support from Level 9. (Posted on 1/2/2016)
