Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Parbolic Rocker Profile: Profile that brings a shorter effective length of the ski edge which enables skiers to make effortless turns, Parabolic sidecut for carving turns on all terrains, and Front side Stabilizer which improves ski stability.

Waveflex Technology: Elan's Waveflex is literally waves bored out of the core of the ski, you can see and feel the topsheet has a wave-like texture. The purpose of these waves is to provide a harmonious flex pattern throughout the ski, and lightens up the overall weight of the ski without giving up torsional rigidity.

Metal Tip Protectors: These skis have rugged tip protectors made of metal that will help fight against chipping and damage to the tips, which is both a performance and cosmetic benefit.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Fiber Tech Wrap: A fiberglass network that surrounds the core of the ski. This technology helps the ski flex evenly, creating a smooth, effortless turn.

Textured Surface: Ideal for repelling wear and tear on the skis surface. Textured ski surfaces (aka snakeskin topsheet) are rough surfaces to the ski that hide or repel scratches keep your skis look new long after they are not. Originally designed for rental skis for obvious reasons, this surface is now available on a wide variety of retail skis as well since everyone likes their skis to look nice.

How does the flex of these skis compare with the Elan Zest? are they the same or a bit stiffer or softer?
would these skis be good for a young female who weighs 120 lbs and is 5'6" and skis once or twice a year on groomed hills and maybe into trees along sides of groomed hills. will they allow her to go fast enough on the less vertical runs like green circles?
Hi, I am a pretty fit 50 year old woman, 170cm tall and 143 pounds. I am a confident intermediate skiier mostly blue runs and easier blacks. I ski once a year in Australia having had a 15 year break and just dusting off the skis again a few years ago. I am heading off to Japan this coming winter. I will mostly ski groomed runs and on the edges into the trees a little to get some fresh snow and experience powder for the first time. I am looking for something that will help me to continue to improve and refine my technique while still having lots of fun and a bit of speed.
Is this a good for someone thar stays frontside mostly blues and groomed blacks with occasional trips in the trees? I am 5'9" 135 lb currently using ato mic cloud 6 156cm but get alit of chatter, what size would be good?
I am female, 52 years old, 63kg and 170cm. I ski mostly in Colorado, about 20-30 days - blue and blacks mostly groomed with occasional trips in the trees and in a fresh snow. Currently I am using Rossignol S 74 W Skis (Women’s) 168cm, and I love it! Are this Elan skis similar to my Rossignol, or would recommend something else? What bindings would you suggest? Thanks!
Hi, is the little double arrow marked MP just back from the center of the ski equivalent to the boot center line?
Looking for next skis for my daughter- 15 y, 5'2", 130 lbs. Mostly east coast groomers, intermediate- upper intermediate Currently on scratch pro jr 148, and want something to help her progress, refine her carving.
Think this would be good for first "adult"ski, or other recommendations? thanx

I want a quick release binding for down hill skiing. Which one would I get?

Not as good as hopedReview by Leanne
Unfortunately after reading all the great reviews, I had high hopes for my skis, however I have struggled with them, in being able to do shorter turns. These skis definitely want to do long wide turns. The skis themselves are wider than your normal ski and this is where I have struggled. I am an intermediate skier.
The price is great, they arrived super fast and Level 9 were so helpful in getting the bindings fitted even though I couldn't purchase my ski boots through them. (Posted on 7/20/2017)
Great skis!Review by VT
Love, love, love theses skis. Even called L9 prior to,purchasing because the price seemed too good to be true. They explained that Elan sells these in bulk to Level 9, so I crossed my fingers and ordered.
I am telling everyone to buy these. I am an intermediate skier just getting back into it this season after a twenty year break. These skis are awesome and I am gaining confidence so quickly! I am extremely happy to have these and would gladly have paid more. (Posted on 3/4/2017)
Perfect!Review by Michelle
I have been skiing on the same 185cm skis since 1989. I'm a very comfortable intermediate skier. I bought the 160cm and am so happy with them. Spent the last weekend on them and they are great. Turning is very easy and I always felt in control. I also bought the Tyrolia D11 binding, happy with that as well. (Posted on 2/6/2017)

Fantastic skisReview by Monique
I purchased these skis about a month and a half ago. I couldn't be happier! The description of the skis helped me make my purchase with confidence. I called them to give them my boot number for the bindings and they answered my questions with a lot of enthusiasm. My skis were at my front door the next day! I live in Calgary Canada so shipping was super quick! I skied on them for the first time today and I am very pleased with them. Skiing was ridiculously easy today. So happy with these skis and with the service at level9sports.com. I will be making future purchases for sure. (Posted on 3/22/2016)
