This new never used ski and binding comes with an RS 10 mounted to 349mm, we can remount this binding for you at no charge. The Erbacher Silver Cat is a quality made ski that was built by Elan Skis in Europe. We have carried many different skis made in this same factory and they have proven to be durable and well built. The Silver Cat is a step up from the Blue Cat with a slightly stiffer flex, it is a little wider (74mm) and has sidewall construction underfoot. This ski is still a fantastic choice for skiers in the intermediate category but beginners might want to choose the Blue Cat instead. This ski will turn on a dime especially since it has a nice hourglass shape with early rise in the tips. The Silver Cat is sleek looking as well and will slink its way down pretty much any terrain, but its natural habitat is most definitely groomed runs.

Ideal Target Skier: Progressing Intermediate: This skier is pushing the limits of the intermediate badge, and getting off trail and figuring out how to get comfortable at higher speeds through variable terrain.

Speed: Moderate: The speed at which an intermediate skier travels, Moderate means they like to ski faster than beginners, but are never the fastest skiers on a run.

Early Rise: Somewhere between rocker and traditional sits the Early Rise. This helps the tip of the ski get up in softer snow, and still maintains good edge grip and firm snow performance.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Sintered Base: The material used for the base is harder, and therefore more durable than other options (Extruded). This material should be waxed regularly for best performance.

Hybrid Cap/Sandwich Construction: This ski features Cap construction at the tip and tail for added durability and to reduce topsheet chipping, and has Sandwich constuction underfoot for greater edge hold and power through the turns. Its the best of both worlds.

What is Erbacher?: The Erbacher skis name has been around since the 60's and has stuck around on and off at least in Europe since then. Well, Erbacher is now available from your friends at L9! These skis specifically were made in the Elan factory in Slovenia which basically means that your getting a high quality, durable product that was built with care.

Product Questions

Product Questions

Hi, When you say re-mount, does that mean the bindings has been mounted to the skis before, therefore re-mounting will leave visible holes in the skis if the boot size is not the same as the current mounting? I'm looking for a pair of skis compatible with these boots I'll be purchasing from L9 (http://www.levelninesports.com/Fischer-Zephyr-8-Vacuum-Womens-Ski-Boots) so can you please tell me if these skis will fit the boots, and will there be visible ugly holes left in the skis after the re-mount? Sorry if my question might sound stupid, but it's a genuine question from an intermediate skier who has only ever hired skis ' boots for my trips. Thank you ' regards,
