Fischer Cruzar Fire Skis w/ RS9 Bindings 2017

Carving skis can be a little intimidating - often times boasting technology that sounds more like something off the NASA R&D floor that is a far cry from something you would hop on for cruising at the ski hill. The Cruzar Fire from Fischer packs all the fun you get in the carving ski shape without as many of the bells and whistles. Rest assured, however, that Fischer has kept the heart of a ski intact so makes linking up tight turns is a joy with this ski.

We think that makes this ski (that includes the RS9 rail bindings) a stellar L9 deal! This ski has sidewall sandwich construction that puts some high density rubber over the edges, which makes them quite capable in maintaining a firm edge hold at high speeds. The performance of this ski is quite accessible to less experienced skiers. That makes it great for beginners all the way through advanced skiers who will appreciate this ski's racing heritage. Just pick a size that matches your ability level and you are good to go!

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Ideal Target Skier: East Coast Hardpack Lover: This is an excellent ski for East Coast skiers that ski aggressively on the hardpack while still getting off trail a bit. West Coast skiers: this is a carving ski that should only be brought out when the powder is gone and its time to rip the groomers.

Tip Rocker: This refers to the early rising of the tip to get the ski on top of the soft snow, rather than pushing through it. When the skis are held with the bases together, it will look like the tips are bent, and spread away from eachother. Tip rocker also helps skiers pivot the skis, making tight trees remarkably easy, and gives the ski a surf-like feel.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Extruded Base: This durable material requires little maintenance and holds wax for a long period of time, so you don't have to wax as often.

Air Power: Ski core with less density. The reduced ski weight means easier handling and less energetic skiing.

Fiber Tech Wrap: A fiberglass network that surrounds the core of the ski. This technology helps the ski flex evenly, creating a smooth, effortless turn.
