Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Expert Binding Choices: Some of the binding options (i.e. the Head GTO 15) available for this ski have high din ranges that start at 8 or 9. A very small percentage of skiers will be suitable for these bindings. If you know that you usually set your din at 8 or above, you are in the clear for a high din binding. Otherwise, those bindings are for EXPERT SKIERS ONLY!

Skier Ability: Advanced to Expert: Skipping the blue runs to get to the black runs, but sometimes a little cautious when it gets very steep, or some hesitation when your buddy says, ''You just have to clear those rocks or else you're toast.''

Ideal Target Skier: West Coast All Mountain Skier: Skiers on the west coast will enjoy this ski as an all mountain, do everything model, while skiers on the east coast will find this more suitable for powder skiing, or when there is chopped up crud to be had.

Sandwich Construction (SW): SW means that the sides of the skis are a vertical wall rather the the rounded Cap construction forund on most skis. Since none of the skis material needs to be exerting force maintaining shape at the edges, SW skis are stiffer than their Cap counterparts. Most people find SW skis to be damper, that is more glued to the snow, superior at high speed GS turns and top notch at busting through crud or choppy snow.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Sintered Base: The material used for the base is harder, and therefore more durable than other options (Extruded). This material should be waxed regularly for best performance.

Titanium Layer: A thin, but strong layer of Titanium sits under the topsheet of this ski. Not only does it make the ski stronger, it keeps it lighter than other metals, and also creates a dampening effect for the ski. This means it rides smoother over bumpy terrain.

Air Carbon Ti: The core of this ski is made up of a lightweight mix of Air carbon and titanium. Fischer says its guarantees easier handling. We say it lightens up the ski without loosing the good characteristics of heavy, high performance skis.

Tip Rocker: This refers to the early rising of the tip to get the ski on top of the soft snow, rather than pushing through it. When the skis are held with the bases together, it will look like the tips are bent, and spread away from eachother. Tip rocker also helps skiers pivot the skis, making tight trees remarkably easy, and gives the ski a surf-like feel.

We Have Recommended Some Bindings For You: You will notice there is a dropdown menu that says "Ski Bindings" above. These are simply a list of curated bindings we recommend will work best for this particular ski but other bindings will work as well. There are a few factors i.e. brake width, DIN range, ability level that determine an appropriate binding choice, so let us know if you need assistance.

AirTec Ti Construction: The Air Tec wood core has been given an elaborate, offset milled structure which, on the one hand, makes the core 25% lighter and, on the other hand maintains the outstanding ski performance, both flex and torsion remain the same. A special milling finish of the full-surface Titanal Shell saves even more weight, especially in the All Mountain sector.

Product Questions

Hi there, was looking at getting these ..last link i had showed them on here for $249?? has price gone up??
I have been looking skis for over a year and just can't make decision. You guys have been great answering questions. I have asked u guys about q lab, and u guys received also the Fischer ranger 106. I have never on something like that other a demo day with Rossignol soul 7 in 15 in of fresh powder. I am 5' 10' 220 lbs and have skiing for 35 yrs. Snowboard for 5yrs. Consider myself slightly advanced , just no cliffs. Ski 8 days a yr on the east and go out west for 3 days. For the price these skis look like a no brainer??? What binding should I get?
What is the width of these skis?
How much does this ski weigh in 170 cm length?
Im 5'9 and was wondering what length I should ski in a rocker ski
I'm looking to replace my elan magpie 10. I've had them for 5 years and loved their easy turning responsiveness for all mountain use. I mostly stick to trees and bumps and don't see much powder. Last year's poor conditions in the Rockies beat the hell out of these skis some replacement is not optional will these fischers be a similar ski?
Can you compare these to the Motive 95 (or 96 this year I think)?
I am currently in your Fischer Big Heat. 6'1' about 220lbs. I love the Big Heat no speed limit factor, but they can be just to stiff and heavy at times. How do the Rangers hold at higher speed, big GS type turns on hard pack?
I had previously bought the Fischer Watea 88's from you a few years back. I will be there in a few weeks\mid march looking to upgrade to these skis since they are 96 wide. I'm an intermediate skier who wants to go off the groomers a bit and learn to ski in some powder. What are all of the noticeable benefits this will provide over my Watea 88's both on the corduroy and in the powder? Any other 96-100 you would also recommend in or slightly above this price range?

Thanks All. Love your shop and your service. You guys rock!!!!.

Great price, great skiReview by Tom
Delivery time to Australia was only 4 business days, crazy fast. I tried the skis out last weekend on a slushy day and they were great. The skis power through chopped up snow and are light and easy to maneuver. (Posted on 7/6/2017)
My favorite fischer ski so farReview by newsun
Very capable ski. Surprised at how nimble it was in moguls and stable at higher speed. (Posted on 6/9/2017)
Awesome Review by CTBIKEDAD
Took them out in spring slop at Killington. On Perma-ice held an edge perfectly. Light weight and rocker let me ski through and shred moguls of sugar snow. Turning on steep Cascade was flawless. Very stable ride. (Posted on 4/29/2017)
