Description

The Fischer Ranger Pro 13 is a top notch boot for aggressive skiers at the advanced to expert ability levels. This boot has a 130 flex with a 98mm last, but the Ranger Pro also features Fischer's Vacuum Fit molding system that can adapt both the liner and shell of the boot exactly to the skiers foot and leg. This unique molding process makes for one of the most precise and comfortable boot fits on the market today. However, the Ranger Pro can be skied, un-molded, right out of the box as well. The Ranger Pro 13 is everything expert skiers need from their boots and nothing they don't. Micro adjustable buckles and a two bolt flex adjust allow the skier to easily dial in the boots to their liking and the extra heel and toe pads extend the boot's life by a season or two. Whether your a speed demon or a big mountain bomber, the Ranger Pro 13 will provide the comfort and support you need to charge the slopes to your full potential.

Vacuum Fit Not Required:This boot sports Fischer's Vacuum Fit Technology and there is the option of going through the molding process at a local Fischer dealer for a fee or we can mold the boots for $24 if you come to our SLC store. However, the boots can be skied right out of the box without hindering any performance or fit. Of course, the Vacuum fit is great, but if you slip the boot on and it feels good, then go ski it!

Fischer Vacuum Fit System:This proprietary heat molding system from Fischer allows skiers to get a 100% guaranteed fit by molding the shell and liner in just 20 minutes at a certified Fischer Dealer. The process uses heat, cooling pads, air pressure and a special Vacuum Fit Stand that ensures a precise fit for the entire boot.

93-103mm Last :Right out of the box, this boot has a 98mm last which offers an expertly performing low-volume fit. Boots of this last width can run the gamut from very tight fitting to reasonably comfortable, but they will all fit much much tighter than a rental or intermediate boot. Through the Vacuum Fit Process, the shell can mold between 93-103mm depending on your foot width. This mold-ability opens this boot up a much wider range of foot widths than ever before.

130 Flex Rating:Higher than average stiffness means you should be skiing pretty fast to warrant a boot of this flex.

Seamless Slider:Smooth material on the inside back of the liner to help the foot slide in and out of the boot with less effort.

Tongue Pull:A loop of fabric at the top of the tongue helps in putting on and removing the boots. Pull it forward and to the side and your foot should slide right in.

Full Thermo Fit Liner:Body heat activates the material in this liner to shape to the skier's foot faster than a standard liner. The insulation also has heat reflective properties to keep the warm in, and the cold out.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles:These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

Adjustable rear spoiler: With the turn of an allen key, the height at the top rear of the boot can be adjusted. If you are taller than average for your boot size, or if you just want the extra support at the back of the leg, you can adjust the spoiler up about 1cm from standard. This will also pitch you forward slightly into a more aggressive stance.

Double Canting: Two adjustment bolts, one each side of the ankle, allow for maximum adjustment for leg/knee alignment problems. The canting helps the skis stay flat on the ground while you are still bow-legged or knock-kneed.

Replaceable Toe and Heel Pads:This is a must-have for skiers that don't live in ski in/ski out condos. When your ski tech tells you that you have to buy new boots because the soles are worn down too much, just laugh at him and tell him to order you a new set of sole plates.

45mm Strap:Super wide strap found on high performance boots. The extra width spreads out the force while skiing and reduces the pressure point on the upper shin.

Shock Absorbing Footboard:The footboard, sometimes called a zeppa board that runs the entire length of your foot underneath the liner, is made of a responsive rubber material designed to absorb vibrations in choppy terrain, while hucking cliffs in backcountry or landing jumps in the park.

SOMA-Tec:The positioning of the feet in a SOMA boot is in a natural 'V' shape, with the toes pointed slightly outward, and the heels slightly inward. This positioning puts the skier's center of gravity over the middle of the ski for better control and edging power. This design also creates less stress on the knee and ankle joints.

Full Custom Thermo Toebox:The elastic toebox in special neoprene and lycra offers better warmth insulation and ideal fitting for the individual forefoot width.

Ultralon Heel/Ankle Padding:Perfect heel fit and direct power transfer through the thermo-adjustment of the ankle padding. This material is ideal for the Vacuum Fit process and ensures a comfortable, snug fit in the heel of the boot.
