Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Ideal Target Skier: East Coast Hardpack Lover: This is an excellent ski for East Coast skiers that ski aggressively on the hardpack while still getting off trail a bit. West Coast skiers: this is a carving ski that should only be brought out when the powder is gone and its time to rip the groomers.

Fischer RC4 Z 12 Binding Included: The RC4 Z12 has a din range of 3.5-12 which makes it a great binding for most all types of skiers. It is featured on our Fischer Skis for its easy adjustment features designed to fit a wide range of boot sizes (257-380mm).

Air Carbon Ti: The core of this ski is made up of a lightweight mix of Air carbon and titanium. Fischer says its guarantees easier handling. We say it lightens up the ski without loosing the good characteristics of heavy, high performance skis.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Sandwich Construction (SW): SW means that the sides of the skis are a vertical wall rather the the rounded Cap construction forund on most skis. Since none of the skis material needs to be exerting force maintaining shape at the edges, SW skis are stiffer than their Cap counterparts. Most people find SW skis to be damper, that is more glued to the snow, superior at high speed GS turns and top notch at busting through crud or choppy snow.

Triple Radius Technology: The Triple Radius shape of THE CURV enables better control and power transfer throughout the entire turn – starting with exact turn initiation and the precise gliding phase on the edge up to the final acceleration at the end of the turn.

Sintered Base: The material used for the base is harder, and therefore more durable than other options (Extruded). This material should be waxed regularly for best performance.

Tip Rocker: This refers to the early rising of the tip to get the ski on top of the soft snow, rather than pushing through it. When the skis are held with the bases together, it will look like the tips are bent, and spread away from eachother. Tip rocker also helps skiers pivot the skis, making tight trees remarkably easy, and gives the ski a surf-like feel.

Diagotex Technology: DIAGOTEX TM is an innovative diagonal carbon grid for maximum torsional stability. DIAGOTEX TM helps you to counteract centrifugal forces in high-speed turns so you maintain perfect edge pressure. For optimal power transfer and stability in turns.
