The Fischer Viron 10 Vacuum is a 100 flex boot that seamlessly meshes performance and comfort together in one boot. This boot features Fischer's "Vacuum Comfort Fit" where the lower part of the shell and liner can be heated up and molded exactly to the skier's feet at a Vacuum Boot Dealer. The last can range from 103-108mm depending on your foot size, but if you don't mold it, it starts at a comfortable 103mm width. This boot's got all the features an intermediate to advanced skier needs to have a great time out on the slopes. Gone are the days complaining about how much their feet hurt!

This chart provides a safe comfortable size that most all skiers will be able to use. If you are looking for a true skier's performance fit you may want to size down one half to one full size smaller. For most ski boots, the full (.0) size uses the same shell and liner as the half (.5) size (like, 25.0 and 25.5) and will have almost an identical fit.

Vacuum Fit Not Required: This boot sports Fischer's Vacuum Fit Technology and there is the option of going through the molding process at a local Fischer dealer for a fee or we can mold the boots for free if you come to our SLC store. However, the boots can be skied right out of the box without hindering any performance or fit. Of course, the Vacuum fit is great, but if you slip the boot on and it feels good, then go ski it!

Fischer Vacuum Comfort Fit: The Comfort Fit Vacuum uses the same system as the regular Vacuum boots, but the comfort fit boots only can get molded in the bottom half of the boot. This proprietary heat molding system from Fischer allows skiers to get a 100% guaranteed fit by molding the shell and liner in just 20 minutes at a certified Fischer Dealer. The process uses heat, cooling pads, air pressure and a special Vacuum Fit Stand that ensures a precise fit for the entire boot.

100 Flex Rating: This boot is pretty stiff, but not insanely stiff. A boot of this level is pretty good for upper-intermediate to expert level weekend warrior that is looking for something stiff enough to provide high-end response, while being wearable for an entire day of skiing.

Find a Vacuum Fit Dealer: Follow to locate the closest Fischer Vacuum Fit dealer that will be able to mold your boots you purchased from L9.

103-108mm Last Width: Right out of the box, this boot has a 103mm last which offers a high-volume fit great for intermediate to advanced skiers. Through the Vacuum Fit Process, the shell can mold between 103-108mm depending on your foot width. This mold-ability opens this boot up a much wider range of foot widths than ever before.

Seamless Slider: Smooth material on the inside back of the liner to help the foot slide in and out of the boot with less effort.

Tongue Pull: A loop of fabric at the top of the tongue helps in putting on and removing the boots. Pull it forward and to the side and your foot should slide right in.

35mm strap: Wider than average strap at the top of the boot to help keep the boot together and to give good performance while skiing.

Full Thermo Fit Liner: Body heat activates the material in this liner to shape to the skier's foot faster than a standard liner. The insulation also has heat reflective properties to keep the warm in, and the cold out.

Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles: These aluminum buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

Replaceable Toe and Heel Pads: This is a must-have for skiers that don't live in ski in/ski out condos. When your ski tech tells you that you have to buy new boots because the soles are worn down too much, just laugh at him and tell him to order you a new set of sole plates.

SOMA-Tec: The positioning of the feet in a SOMA boot is in a natural 'V' shape, with the toes pointed slightly outward, and the heels slightly inward. This positioning puts the skier's center of gravity over the middle of the ski for better control and edging power. This design also creates less stress on the knee and ankle joints.

Full Custom Thermo Toebox: The elastic toebox in special neoprene and lycra offers better warmth insulation and ideal fitting for the individual forefoot width.

Ultralon Heel/Ankle Padding: Perfect heel fit and direct power transfer through the thermo-adjustment of the ankle padding. This material is ideal for the Vacuum Fit process and ensures a comfortable, snug fit in the heel of the boot.

Product Questions

Product Questions

I have used SureFoot Lange comp boots for the past 10 years due to ankle and footbed problems. Surefoot is way too expensive. I am interested in the Fischer Viron 10. I am a low expert who can handle any black or double black in CO but am turning 65 and have to limit the blacks. Will this boot enable me to occasionally still hit the double blacks while cruising the blues?

I have a wide foot so I am guessing I would have to have the shell and liner fitting. However I live in Southern California, can you recommend a place to do the fitting?

I was wondering how long does a customer have to get them fitted at the store since I live in another state?

If you buy a vacuum fit boot then take them into a good boot fitter and get them vacuum fitted. You won't be sorry. I used Small Planet Sports in Shotover Street Queenstown, NZ. Ask for Eddie. (Posted on 3/2/2017)

Bought the boots a half size small for some extra control. They made my foot fall asleep the first night I tried them on, gave them a second try a few nights later, walking around a bit more. Now they feel perfect, definitely take a little while to mold, but fit is great. Glad I didn't send them back after first test fit. (Posted on 3/13/2016)

This seems to be a well fitting boot, true to size. Unfortunatly I have figured out I need a half size bigger than I ordered. The bright spot here is l9 has been fantastic at dealing with my error. They have return shipped these boots and sent my corrected order super fast and with absolutely no hassel. One of the best online retailers I have experienced. (Posted on 2/6/2016)
