Giro Lifetime Warranty: Yes, you read correctly. Giro stands by their product and will warranty any manufacturer's defects for the lifespan of the product. Pretty sweet deal, especially for goggles and helmets. Check out more here: for full details.

GoPro Hardware not included: The GoPro mount that comes with this helmet does NOT include the main screw and bolt you need to secure your GoPro to the mount. This piece comes with your GoPro and is used with most all mounts on the market today.

Safety Standards: ASTM F-2040-00: Meets the standard specifications of protective headgear for snowsports

CE EN 1077: This is a European standard that has performed testing on these helmets to ensure they function as designed, and that they exceed the minimum standards for snow sports. In other words, they dropped heavy objects on the helmets, and they didn't break.

Goggle clip: Two lateral guides that keep the goggles in place, and doesn't interfere with the goggle adjustment clips.

Stack Vent: Our Stack Vent was developed based on research showing the majority of the warm air that can cause fogging exhausts from the center top vent of the goggle. Aligning the Stack Vent in the helmet with the center vent of your goggles helps to keep them clear and fog free while maintaining total helmet and goggle integration.

Audio Compatible: This helmet is compatible with all aftermarket Giro Soundsystems. Unsnap the liner and drop the headphones in, its that simple!

In-Mold Construction: A one time industry standard, now In-Mold construction is viewed as the highest quality lightweight construction style. Helmets made with this method will be the lightest on the market.

Super Fit Engineering: Super Fit Engineering is the foundation of Giro's design process. Every new Giro product is designed with reference to their database of anatomic measurements and rider input. They then test the design repeatedly in the lab and in the hands of riders so they can gather feedback and make refinements to create a final product that fits and performs at the highest level.

Integrated GoPro Mount: That's right, this helmet has a built-in mount for your GoPro front and center on the helmet. Forget about using the adhesive mounts, simply screw in your GoPro and start sending.

Trip Clip Carrying System: Wondering what the little carabiner on the earflap is for? Unclip the carabiner from the side and then Simply pull the goggle clip through from the inside of the helmet and clip the carabiner to your bag. This will keep your helmet from bouncing around while clipped to your backpack.

Roc Loc 5 Fit System: This groundbreaking fit system provides an entirely unique user experience with an unmatched level of comfort, stability, adjust-ability and weight savings. With Roc Loc 5, you can easily dial-in both fit tension and adjust vertical position with a single hand. Just twist the dial for a tighter feel then back it off a notch and for a precise fit around the head. Even with these remarkable features, Roc Loc 5 is still nearly 40-percent lighter than its popular predecessor, Roc Loc 4.

Giro Edit Ski HelmetReview by Jer
Pros: Fits well, warm, Go Pro attachment
Location: Toronto
I found this helmet to be very comfortable and it fit perfectly (I have a fairly small head). It was really warm (maybe a little too warm at times, even with the vents open). Lots of adjustable parts to the helmet to ensure a proper fit and it fits well with my snow goggles (no gaps). (Posted on 1/27/2015)
Comfortable and works wellReview by Shannon
Pros: Safe, comfortable
Location: Ottawa, ON
I bought this helmet to replace last years model Giro Edit that I damaged in a recent ski accident. I hit my head hard on ice and this helmet absorbed most of the impact, cracking it. I believe it saved me from more serious injury. In addition to the GoPro mount, it is also audio compatible for wired or wireless helmet speakers. Delivery was also very fast, I ordered on a Sunday night and it was delivered to Ontario Canada on Tuesday! (Posted on 1/6/2015)
Giro Edit Ski HelmetReview by Wombat
Pros: Light weight, Go Pro attachment, toasty warm, easy goggls strap retainer
Cons: Quite bulky
Comfy helmet, warm and lightweight. adjusts easily to a snug fit. The GoPro attachment works well position wise, but the attachment comes with a plastic screw which seems pretty breakable. Probably so the crew snaps before your helmet gets damaged if your camera gets snagged In a fall? (Posted on 8/17/2014)
