The little sister to the Peak 74, Head's Mya No. 3 is a lighter, softer, and more user friendly version of than the Peak skis. With that said, these skis are not particularly soft (though they are light), so the skier on these could ski as fast as she wants--and since they are very lightweight, she can also ski as slow as she wants. We recommend these to intermediate skiers or more casual cruiser advanced skiers that spend *most* of their time on groomed runs!

LRX 9.0 Included: This ski comes with a Head/Tyrolia LRX 9.0 Binding included. The LRX 9.0 is an adjustable LiteRail binding which is exactly what it is, a lightweight binding mounted on a Rail system for easy size adjustment. The DIN range goes from 2.5-9 great for adults of all ability levels.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Carbon Jacket: A superb combination of durability and performance in a ski topsheet available. A carbon jacket will still allow top speeds but also not weight your ski down.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

UHM C Base: The most durable, quickest base material on the market. It requires very little maintenance and allows your skis to do what they are made to do until you decide you've hit so many rocks that it needs a tune.

Intelligence Technology: Allows for a transfer of energy throughout the ski to provide stabilization at higher speeds. When the ski begins to shake in front of the binding electricity is transmitted forward through the ski to stiffen it up, thus anticipating the vibration (chatter) and reducing it.

Product Questions

Hi, I'm 173cm tall and weigh 55kg, I'm an intermediate skier desperately trying to stay ahead in ability of my growing children (I have yet to resort to pushing them over, but may soon have to reconsider my options). Just wondering if these skis are suitable for my needs and if so what size you would recommend?

Hi I am 5'3' and 120 lb, beginning skier. Last time I rented a ski was $146cm. Is 156 cm too long for me?

I'm an upper intermediate skier. I'm 5'6" and 150 lbs. Would the 163 cm be a good option for me? I want to keep them a long time. Also, I,ve seen the Mya N.2. Wath's the principal difference between the two models. I want good skis that I can control easily.

What is the angle setting for the base and edge for sharpening?

I'm 5'8" and am trying to decide between the 156cm & 163cm. I just learned to ski last year, but have been up ~15 times between last year and this year. When I rent, I usually go with skis that are 156cm, but want skis that will continue to be good as I become a better skier. Length recommendation?

I am 5'0 tall and weigh 125 pounds and an intermediate level skier. I ski primarily groomed runs. I am looking to get out of a old pair of Junior 140's and by my first "women's skis" but don't know what size to buy 149? 156? Or??

I'm 178cm, 71kg, low end intermediate. Looking for skis for Japan - would these suit?
-3
I am 5'5" and 125lbs. Low end intermediate. Will the Mya3 156cm fit my need? Will be only skiing on groomed hills. Skid skiing.

I'm an upper intermediate skier, 5'3" and about 230lbs and ski mostly groomed trails. I'm wondering which length of the Mya 3 would be best for me - 163cm or 156cm. Last pair I purchased was about 15 years ago so I tend to hang on to my skis for a while.

Thank you!
