The REV 105 is truly your all-in-one ski for those guys who don't really want to commit to a phat pow ski AND a narrow carving ski. At 105mm at the waist will cut through the deep stuff with ease and make GS turns on a dime. Skis are slowly backing away from the uber wideness (140mm) and 105mm is a great place to be. Unless you live in Japan where you're skiing bottomless powder on a daily basis.

This chart provides a range of sizes suffice for skiers based on their height and ability level. Remember, there are lots of different styles of skis these days, so even though the ski fits into your size range, it may not be the ski for you. Use our Ski Selector if you have any doubts or questions, for a more catered list of skis that will make you the best skier on the mountain.

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Expert Binding Choices: Some of the binding options (i.e. the Head GTO 15) available for this ski have high din ranges that start at 8 or 9. A very small percentage of skiers will be suitable for these bindings. If you know that you usually set your din at 8 or above, you are in the clear for a high din binding. Otherwise, those bindings are for EXPERT SKIERS ONLY!

Skier Ability: Advanced to Expert: Skipping the blue runs to get to the black runs, but sometimes a little cautious when it gets very steep, or some hesitation when your buddy says, ''You just have to clear those rocks or else you're toast.''

Ideal Target Skier: Weekend Warrior/Charger: These skiers were once upon a time ski bums, or very proficient skiers in college, then landed an internship that led to a 70 hour work week and a spouse and 2.5 kids. They are still great skiers, and ski hard every chance they get on steeps, moguls, powder... whatever they can get their hands on.

Speed: Very Fast: Skiing at this speed means keeping up with the best skiers on the mountain, while still maintaining control.

Sandwich Construction (SW): SW means that the sides of the skis are a vertical wall rather the the rounded Cap construction forund on most skis. Since none of the skis material needs to be exerting force maintaining shape at the edges, SW skis are stiffer than their Cap counterparts. Most people find SW skis to be damper, that is more glued to the snow, superior at high speed GS turns and top notch at busting through crud or choppy snow.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

UHM C Base: The most durable, quickest base material on the market. It requires very little maintenance and allows your skis to do what they are made to do until you decide you've hit so many rocks that it needs a tune.

Tip Rocker: This refers to the early rising of the tip to get the ski on top of the soft snow, rather than pushing through it. When the skis are held with the bases together, it will look like the tips are bent, and spread away from eachother. Tip rocker also helps skiers pivot the skis, making tight trees remarkably easy, and gives the ski a surf-like feel.

ABS Sidewall: ABS provides better edge hold than other materials and construction types. It will also withstand impacts with rocks and terrain features (rails, boxes, your friend) more effectively when compared to cap style construction.

Era 3.0 Rocker/Camber: Head combines Rocker for flotation in soft snow, a progressive radius for better edge contact and grip, and shock absorption to dampen vibrations.

great powder skiReview by skidog
Bought a pair just for powder days. Love them felt like I was cheating skiing in 30" deep powder. Also bought my son a pair who also loves them in powder. (Posted on 2/27/2016)
love the skiReview by Tim
Just bought a pair and love them. I felt like I was cheating during our last powder day. Can't wait for the next powder day. Also enjoyed them on hard pack. (Posted on 2/11/2016)
Great powder biased all-mountain skiReview by Wasatch Warrior
This review is for the 2014 version of the Head Rev 105, which as I understand it, the same as 2015 model with different graphics. After 5 days on them, I have to say they are the most versatile ski I have ever been on. These fit nicely between my Monster 88's and Atomic Automatic 117's. Hands down, my go-to ski in most all conditions so far. Had them in 15" untracked powder, tracked out pow/crud/chop, as well as groomers. They float as good as my Automatics in powder as they have a bit wider tip and tail, and are really nimble in the trees. Plus the lack of rocker in the tail makes them surprisingly easy to lay over on groomers and arc like a narrower ski. Based on feedback from other owners, I mounted them +2.5 cm from the line, and I feel this is perfect. Overall - 5 stars!! (Posted on 2/2/2016)

GREAT powder skiReview by Graminal
Best all around powder ski I have ever skied. I live in Sun Valley and ski 80 days/year. Holds an edge on groomers between off-piste runs. No tip flop. Quick enough in the bumps or making longer turns. If you ski lots of bumps, I would mount it 1 cm forward.
A little early rise and no rocker, thank God. If you are a traditional, good skier and carve your turns , you will love this ski.Good energy out of the turn if you get some speed, but it will also turn easily at slo speeds.
It's also a lot of fun. I ski the Head iSpeed Rebel GS on groomer days FYI.
