Free Binding Mounting: We will mount you ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Secret Stash. You have found the secret stash, home to the best deals on the net, these are the best deals from a website of great deals, insane discounts on products we are trying to move out. These products won't last long so be sure to be quick on the trigger.

East Coast All Mountain: A newly defined category for skis that could be generally described as eastern all mountain skis or western groomed run skis. This ski should be mostly carving on groomed runs but can handle the occasional powder and crud.

Speed: Moderate: The speed at which an intermediate skier travels, Moderate means they like to ski faster than beginners, but are never the fastest skiers on a run.

Speed: Controlled: Usually a moderate speed because of a lot of back and forth on the hill, or sticking to the lower pitch runs. Skis designed for slower skiing can still be skied more aggressively by lighter skiers (especially juniors).

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

UHM C Base: The most durable, quickest base material on the market. It requires very little maintenance and allows your skis to do what they are made to do until you decide you've hit so many rocks that it needs a tune.

We Have Recommended Some Bindings For You: You will notice there is a dropdown menu that says "Ski Bindings" above. These are simply a list of curated bindings we recommend will work best for this particular ski but other bindings will work as well. There are a few factors i.e. brake width, DIN range, ability level that determine an appropriate binding choice, so let us know if you need assistance.

Era 3.0 Rocker/Camber: Head combines Rocker for flotation in soft snow, a progressive radius for better edge contact and grip, and shock absorption to dampen vibrations.

Affordable Skis: Discount doesn't mean cheap. These discount skis are the most bang for your buck. Allowing you to buy ski gear that is great quality at a price that will not break the bank.

I am 5'9 and 140lbs. Was wondering if it would be better to go with the 156 or the 170s. I am an upper intermediate skiier and would go mostly on groomed trails with this ski.

Is this ok for a 5'6 113lb first time skier?

Saw them on sale for $99. No way I was passing them up. They are awesome skis, great for beginner/intermediate. Very easy to carve. Handle ice pretty well too. For the price, can't beat it! (Posted on 3/12/2016)

To be honest I bought these skis because they were very cheap and its getting near the end of the season here in NZ. I figured I'd have a last week in the mountains and maybe sell them on and get something better next season, but they exceeded all expectations.

I bought a size longer (170) than I would normally have but was pleasantly surprised to find they are faster than expected, have great pop, turn really easily, carve well and are so forgiving that I cannot imagine falling off them. These are really fun skis to ride.

I have read other reviews that have said they are unstable at speed but didn't find that at all and wonder if they were biased by the 'beginner/intermediate' tag in the description. I was travelling faster than most other skiers on the mountain and although there was a flexible/supple feel to them, they held on really well. I wonder if they are recommended for beginners because they so forgiving.

I should point out that I have only used these on groomers, but conditions varied over the week from ice, powder and slush and these skis handled all conditions well.

At the price that L9 are selling them, they are incredible value for money (Posted on 10/16/2015)

Pros: Easy Turning
Cons: Not stable at higher speeds
Location: Toronto, Canada
Beginers will love this ski - easy turning and light. But, not a ski for "tougher" conditions or intermediate and above skiers. (Posted on 1/19/2015)

Solid all-mountain skis that suit beginner to intermediateReview by Alex

If you are looking to step up from the early beginner skis and improve your technique then these are a solid option for a very reasonable price. These were a bit longer than what I was used to so I wasn't able to flick through the turns like I was doing on the really short 163ish rentals, but they're narrow underfoot so more forgiving than some of the planks you see at this length. Nice and flexible and light but capable of pushing through enough snow for you to manage most runs in Australia reasonably comfortably. (Posted on 12/6/2014)
