Retail Fulfillment Manager | Woods Cross, UT
This position oversees all retail fulfillment operations in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will lead by example, and motivate their team to produce consistent and high-quality output in order to support the interests of our company, our customers, and the local community in which they work.
The Retail Fulfillment Manager’s primary focus should be achieving maximum efficiency and accuracy when working to replenish retail orders, on a day-to-day basis. In addition to daily tasks, the mid to long-term goals of the retail and fulfillment teams will be a focus of this role. This job will entail overseeing inventory management, monitoring expenses, managing product pickup and delivery logistics, and ensuring the warehouse operates safely and effectively.
This position will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. The goal is to ensure daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and that longer-term goals are on track.
Essential Job Functions
- Prepare and complete products and orders for delivery to stores according to schedule (pick, pull, label, pack, ship).
- Process products/orders accurately.
- Receive and process warehouse stock products.
- Inspect products for defects and damages and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Supervise and train team members through all stages of the fulfillment process.
- Deliver product from warehouse to retail locations when needed.
- Effectively manage a team of 3-8 employees.
- Contribute to daily operations while overseeing team progress.
- Simultaneously manage day-to-day operations and oversee longer-term goal success.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to fulfill daily warehouse operations.
- Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for fulfillment, and inventory re-stock.
- Ability to walk up and down ladders, carrying boxes, product, and other necessary store related items.
- Ability to perform warehouse maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean.
- Ability to safely lift boxes up to 65 lbs.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or higher.
- Previous fulfillment, leadership, and supervisor experience.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of ski, snowboard, and bike product.
- Must have familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
- Must have good organizational, time management, problem solving, and team player skills.
- Must have accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must have effective communication skills.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must have basic product use and knowledge.
- Goal-oriented, hard-working and effective at problem solving.
- Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment– not required, but helpful.
