Sometimes you just gotta go completely old school and rock some skinny, straight skis. You may actually be looking for a dedicated mogul ski in which case you're in luck, because at 66mm in the waist, the 244 from K2 is ideal for zipper line mogul runs, 360 iron cross mute grabs and of course dinner rolls. Since this ski is so narrow relative to modern skis its hard to recommend for anything besides moguls or groomed run skiing. Not to say it won't hold up off piste and in soft snow, its just won't float as well as a wider ski. Slip on those padded pants and you're ready to rock the bumps like Johnny Mosely.

Free Binding Mounting: We will mount your ski bindings for free whenever you order skis and bindings. If you order boots, too, we can adjust them so they are ready to hit the slopes right out of the box! Just be sure to fill out the mounting form that comes up after checkout.

Wood Core: The standard core which has throughout time provided the best performance and durability. Each model may have it's own density level to help define flex and maximum speed but every wood core ski will be solid.

Cap Construction: The topsheet of this ski drapes over the edge to form a clean and rounded finish to the side of the ski. This style of construction adds some torsional rigidity, and helps reduce topsheet chipping when the skis hit each other.

Active Camber: In a world of early rise, rocker, and reverse camber, there still is a need for traditional full camber skis. The edge grip and stability is unmatched on groomed snow. This ski gets maximum edge to the snow, so it helps skiers skiing the firm stuff, or just prefer the 'feel' of traditional camber skis.

East Coast All Mountain: A newly defined category for skis that could be generally described as eastern all mountain skis or western groomed run skis. This ski should be mostly carving on groomed runs but can handle the occasional powder and crud.

Triaxial Braid: The patented Triaxial Braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled core, resulting in great torsional strength while retaining the lively flex patterns inherent in a wood core ski.
