We have all experienced it - you can only ski as long as you feet can bear to be in your boots. The B.F.C. 80 women's ski boots take offense at that issue, and are here to solve the problem. Their 80 flex rating is stiff enough for those who want to get some hard skiing in thanks to the natural stance they allow. In keeping with meeting a happy medium between comfort and performance their last is 102mm, making them wide enough to ensure for most that circulation and comfort will be unimpeded.

This chart provides a safe comfortable size that most all skiers will be able to use. If you are looking for a true skier's performance fit you may want to size down one half to one full size smaller. For most ski boots, the full (.0) size uses the same shell and liner as the half (.5) size (like, 25.0 and 25.5) and will have almost an identical fit.

Description

Details

102mm last: Slightly wider than average to give a great fit for most skiers. This last was designed to fit pretty much everyone, but really wide feet, or the opposite, should look for different lasts more appropriate for their foot types.

80 Flex Index: This boot has a flex rating of 80, which is moving out of the softer-entry level boots and into the stiffer more advanced ski boots. A boot of this flex is appropriate for a wide range of skiers, from lower intermediates looking to improve to expert skiers who want a more casual flex.

Grip Walk Outsoles: New removable and interchangeable ISO 9523 alpine rockered soles for K2's BFC boots collaboratively designed to work with Marker's Grip Walk binding system for better grip and added comfort when walking and standing in boots, but doesn't compromise the power transmission and release function between the boot and binding when skiing (sold separately).

Hands Free Entry: Dual material overlap for intuitive and easy hands-free exit and entry.

30mm Power Strap: A velcro strap, 30mm in height, acts as an extra buckle to keep the top of the boot together. The 30mm straps are good for recreational skiers or junior racers.

Natural Stance : The forward lean of this boot is much less exaggerated than boots in the past. By providing a more neutral upright stance, the boot compliments modern rocker and shape skis that don't require increased forward lean.

Tongue Pull: A loop of fabric at the top of the tongue helps in putting on and removing the boots. Pull it forward and to the side and your foot should slide right in.

Micro-adjustable alloy buckles: These alloy buckles can be moved to adjust for size, so if the default position of the buckle and the teeth is too wide or too narrow, you can move it until it fits.

Macro adjust ladder: The tooth plate opposite the top buckles can be moved in or out for a huge range of adjustment, and to fit narrow to wide lower legs.

Powerfuse Spyne Tech: A rear co-injected shaped design that adds strength and power to the Energy Interlock, the PowerFuse SpYne maximizes fore/aft flex efficiency and lateral stiffness for sustained performance and responsiveness in all terrain. Because of the SpYne, we are able to optimize materials in the cuff and shell, eliminating excessive vibrations in rough terrain.

Double Canting: Two adjustment bolts, one each side of the ankle, allow for maximum adjustment for leg/knee alignment problems. The canting helps the skis stay flat on the ground while you are still bow-legged or knock-kneed.

Replaceable Toe and Heel Pads: This is a must-have for skiers that don't live in ski in/ski out condos. When your ski tech tells you that you have to buy new boots because the soles are worn down too much, just laugh at him and tell him to order you a new set of sole plates.
